Saving Megan

A Normal Day With Ross

               Megan's P.O.V

    

        I lay awake looking at the ceiling. I hear the door open and I jump up and look at Zach.

     "Don't worry I'm not gonna touch you, yet." I shiver at those words as he comes closer to me.

     "I'm going out with some of my old friends and I'm gonna leave you with Ross. I'll be back later tonight so behave." He kisses my forehead and leaves.

     I start to breath heavily and freak out. I think I'm having a panic attack. I hear Zach drive away and I hear footsteps come closer and closer. My breathing gets louder and my entire body starts to shake as Ross steps into my room. He see's me and runs over to me.

     "Megan, calm down. No ones going to touch you. I promise, I'm going to protect you." He says and tries to calm me down. My breathing gets slower and my body starts to relax.

     "What do you mean no ones going to touch me? Zach is, I know he will." I breath out.

     "Today, I won't let anyone get near you. I'm not going to touch you, I only did that day in the locker room because Zach needed you to be afraid of me."

      "What are you going to do?"

     "Nothing. Today you and me are going to have a normal day, I think you need it. I've always wanted to be your friend, not your enemy."

      "What do you mean by normal?"

    "I brought my ps3 and I make some really good pancakes." I slightly laugh.

     "I would love some pancakes." I say and we stand up. We walk downstairs and Ross starts to mix the pancake batter.

      "Why don't you sing for the chef?" Ross asks.

      "Okay, what song?" I ask.

     "How about Katy Perry's One Of The Boys." I look at him and raise one eyebrow.

     "How the hell do you know that song?"

      "Katy Perry's hot, duh."

     "Nice excuse. Play it off your phone, Zach has mine."

     Ross nods and pulls out his phone. He scrolls through his music and then the song starts. Right before I open my mouth his phone rings cutting off the music. Ross looks at his phone to see who's calling and then puts the phone up to his ear.

        "Hey, Nick. What's up." He says. Once I hear Nick's name I grab his phone.

      "Nick?" I ask.

      "Megan! Are you okay?" He asks, I can just feel the concern in his voice and I smile.

      "I'm fine, I'm spending the day with Ross. Zach's orders."

      "Do you know how much I hate him?"

      "Trust me I hate him 1 million times more."

      "True true. So, he hasn't touched you or anything."

      "Nope, he left me with Ross for the day. He went out with his old drinking buddies, which probably means torture starts tonight or tomorrow."

       "I'm sorry, Megan. You don't deserve any of this."

       "Its not your fault my mom had a thing for bad boys."
