I wake up feeling my head to hurt badly. That trip ruined me so bad. I check my phone and it is 8 in the morning and the date and it the 23rd. I have completely lost track of time.
I get up and put on a comfy grey sweater before heading to the bathroom. I take a pill for my head from the cabinet hoping I'll be better quickly. I wash my face and I make my hair into a ponytail. My face looks so tired.
-Anne?
I hear my brother calling me and I get out of my bathroom.
-Good morning. Aren't you supposed to be at school?
-It's the last day so...
-Oh... Christmas spirit is all over the school, right?
I ask him and he nods his head positively.
-Are you coming for breakfast? Mum and dad are waiting...
-Yeah.
I say and I follow him downstairs.
Mum has made waffles and I can smell the coffee from the stairs.
-Good morning.
I say as I enter the kitchen and take my seat on the table.
-Good morning honey.
Mum says as she takes a mug from the cabinet above the coffee maker.
-Coffee?
-No... Still drinking tea.
I say and Tom laughs.
-Why the laugh?
-You know why. You became one of them. Not that you were a far from it before.
Tom says to me and I smile at him ironically while sipping on my tea.
-Morning Anne.
Dad says as he enters the kitchen with the newspaper in his hands.
-Morning Dad. Is there an interesting article you wrote recently on the paper today?
-All of my articles are interesting. But not today. I just wanted to check about the Christmas bazaar on the church.
-Oh. When is it?
-It is until Christmas day. You could go by and buy something.
He says and I roll my eyes looking at my brother.
-We can go together.
Tom says.
He knows that I don't want to. Aria's parents are organizing it and that means that she will probably be there.
-I don't know.
-Why?
Dad asks me.
-You know why. I came home to enjoy the Holidays. Aria will probably be there.
-Then I'll come with you.
-Thanks Tom but I don't think I'll go.
I say to him.
-Okay... Let's talk about something else then. Grandma and Grandpa are coming over tomorrow.
My mum says and I thank her mentally for changing the subject.
Right after breakfast everyone left. Mum and dad went to work and Tom at school. I am in my room unpacking my suitcases. I started yesterday but I had no energy to continue. I grab my grey jumper from the suitcase but I place it on my bed instead the closet cause I intent on wearing it. Finally, I take of my boots and my make-up bag that I put away in my bathroom.
