"Anne... Anne..."
I hear someone talking while feeling a hand pushing lightly my shoulder. I open my eyes and see Charlotte looking at me.
"Hey..."
I say sounding as sleepy as ever while rubbing my eyes.
"Good morning! You should really get up. We have to be out for breakfast in like 20 minutes."
"I totally forgot to set my alarm."
"It's fine. See you down in 20 minutes?"
"Yeah sure."
I say to her and she leaves my room. I take my phone on my hands and see that I literally have like 20 minutes to get ready. I go to the bathroom to wash my face and teeth. I then get back to my room to get dressed. I think that I can be a little more than casual today. I decide on a black dress that stops right above my knees and I pair it with my black ankle boots. I rush to the bathroom to do my make-up. I stay on the basics and then brush my hair. I grab my denim jacket and phone before storming down stairs.
"I wasn't late, was I?"
"No. Right on time. Let's go. Vanessa is waiting for us with Jack outside."
I nod and follow her outside. Jack and Vanessa are sitting on a bench by the front door joined by another girl and a boy that I met yesterday, Mark.
As soon as we are there we say our good mornings and start walking towards the dining hall.
"Anne? You haven't met Emma, right?"
Mark says as he comes by my side along with the other girl.
"No, I haven't. Nice meeting you Emma."
"Nice meeting you Anne. What do you think of the school so far?"
"It's really beautiful here. I really like it so far."
"Vanessa told me you were here on summer school?"
Mark says to me.
"Yeah I was. It was amazing. I had an amazing time."
"I never picture that school coming alive on summers. What did you guys do here?"
"We had a few classes, we went trips and we had parties."
"Parties?"
Emma asks surprised.
"Yeah we did."
"We only have the Christmas party and the Spring Ball."
"Yeah unfortunately."
Mark says as we enter the dining hall.
We go towards the buffet and I grab a tray. I decide on some yogurt with fruit and granola and a glass of apple juice. Exactly what I going for almost every day on summer. I am trying to find where everyone else is sitting when I see Joe.
"Hey... Good morning!"
"Good morning Anne! How are you?"
"Good. I am actually trying to find my roommates."
"They are in a table by the side door."
"Thanks... Wait! How do you...?"
"Charlotte is my sister."
"Really?"
"Yeah. She told me that you were hanging out yesterday."
"Yeah we were. She helped me unpack. And the most important thing is that she woke me up this morning."
