Chapter 11

That night, Xia was lounging in her room, video calling with Xi Men and Mei Zuo, still trying to find out who did it, when someone knocked on her door.

"Who is it?" She called out loud.

"Princess, Ah Si requests your help in his bedroom. He has brought Miss Dong Shan Cai home with him." Mr. Liu called out through the door which caught Xia and the 2 other boys' attention.

"Shan Cai is at your house? I wonder what happened." Xi Men asked out loud and Xia shook her head.

"I better go and see what he needs help with. I'll call you guys to give you an update later on how things go. For now, we're so close to finding out who did it. Zuo, tell Xixi about the hunch I have. Bye." Xia said as she ended the call. She got out of bed and walked to her brother's bedroom. There, she saw Shan Cai who had an injury in her head.

"Shan Cai! Are you okay? What happened?" She worriedly asked as she rushed over to the girl and checked her over for other injuries. She looked to her brother who was leaning against the wall, looking at them both.

"Meimei, I want you to help her get a bath and change." Ah Si said before Xia nodded and he walked off to give the girls some privacy. Xia helped Shan Cai into the bathroom, and helped make sure she didn't fall or feel faint. Afterwards, they sat on Ah Si's bed and Xia looked over Shan Cai's injury again.

"Shan Cai, will you tell me how this happened?" She asked and Shan Cai sighed before starting to explain.

"It was those two guys you and Lei scared off before. They saw me and dragged me into an abandoned building. One of them started hitting me when I tried to leave, I thought for sure I was a goner. But then, your brother came and saved me." Shan Cai answered.

"It's a good thing he got there just in time, Shan Cai. Anyways, I'll go and get some medicine for your wound. I'll inform Ahia that you're done cleaning up as well." Xia said as she stood up and headed towards the door.

"Dao Ming Xia." Shan Cai called out which made Xia stop and slightly turn her head towards her.

"I don't know if I've said this before, but I'm saying it again, anyways. Thank you. For everything you've done." Shan Cai told her and Xia smiled but Shan Cai couldn't see.

"Anything for a future sister in law." Xia teased as she walked out her brother's room.

Xia had finished giving her brother the proper medicine to use and was lounging on her bed when Mei Zuo called.

"Hello, Zuo?" She answered.

"Your hunch was right, bring Ah Si and Shan Cai with you, I'll text you the address." Mei Zuo told her and she quickly ended the call and got changed. Once she finished, she went and knocked on her brother's door. He opened it straight away.

"We know who posted the pictures of Shan Cai. Get changed and tell Shan Cai to change as well, I'll tell Mr. Liu to get the car ready." She said before turning to leave.

She waited in the living room for 5 minutes before Shan Cai and Ah Si went down.

"Finally. Let's go you guys. Shan Cai, I hope you don't mind me hitching a ride with you guys." Xia teased with a smile as she got into the backseat of Dao Ming Si's sports car. They got to the address that Mei Zuo texted Xia and climbed up a flight of stairs. Once they got to the top and turned left, they saw Mei Zuo and Xi Men standing in front of a door.
