Chapter 5

Xia was heading towards the ships bow, already wearing her bikini with some shorts. Her brother had cancelled the trip to Hawaii but promised her a much more fun trip to Sanya. Xia had never been there before so she agreed to go with her brother. She reached the bow where the others were and was about to lay in the sun and try to get a tan when someone placed a button down on her from behind and was trying to button it up.

"Hey! What gives?" She turned to see her brother.

"Ahia! What're you doing? Can't you see I'm trying to get a tan?" She scolded her brother who gave her a glare in return.

"Hey, try and get a tan in a tanning salon. Not in public where guys can see you." Ah Si scolded her.

"But the only people here are the other boys, Xi Men and Mei Zuo's dates and Jing." Xia complained.

"All the more reason to cover up. I don't want my friends thinking bad thoughts of you." Ah Si said before walking away and Xia could do nothing but pout as she was forced to put on the shirt properly.

She sat down and sulked instead as her brother stood at the very front by the railings, observing the view while drinking a glass of champagne. All of a sudden, she could hear someone yelling. She looked at the direction she thought it came from and saw Qinghe and Shan Cai. Xia sighed. She knew there was a reason her brother cancelled Hawaii and insisted on Sanya. Soon, their boat docked and they disembarked from it. They crossed paths with Shan Cai and Qinghe.

"Dao Ming Si, why are you here?" Qinghe asked Ah Si. They all stopped.

"Why are you here?" Shan Cai repeated.

"I can go wherever I want on this planet. Do I need to have a reason why?" Ah Si arrogantly asked before looking at the boat Shan Cai and Qinghe were in earlier.

"Is that your family's boat? Can it go out to sea? I think you can only go around the pond." Ah Si teased.

"Who said so? I went fishing on it one time." Qinghe explained.

"So, it's a fishing boat?" Ah Si asked which left Qinghe speechless. Dao Ming Si just laughed before walking away, the others following behind him. Xia walked with Lei and Jing.

"Hi, Shan Cai. Hi, Qinghe." Xia greeted with a smile and wave at the two. They gave her smiles and small waves in return.

"Shan Cai, we meet again." Jing greeted her.

"Jing. You're here too?" Shan Cai asked. Last she heard, Ah Si and Lei were still not in good terms.

"I was just saying that these boys are making Xia and I bored. Then, you appeared. We're having a party tonight. You should come." Jing invited.

"I wouldn't want to cause trouble. I'd ruin the atmosphere."  Shan Cai answered.

"That's not true. The more, the merrier. Right, Leilei?" Xia intervened, looking at Lei with a soft smile.

"Yes, you should come." Lei convinced.

"Can I come too?" Qinghe asked.

"Of course, you can!" Xia told him with a grin. She then looked at Jing who was looking at Shan Cai.
