About an hour later, Ah Si was told by Mr. Liu that Shan Cai was ready and waiting for him in the library. Xia, who was still lounging in his room, stood up with him.

"And where do you think you're going?" Ah Si Asked her.

"I want to watch it blow up on your face." Xia innocently replied.

"No, Shan Cai and I have to speak alone." He stopped her and she pouted but nonetheless nodded in confirmation.

"Do I get her after you, then?" She asked him and he nodded.

"Okay. I'll wait here." Xia happily said as she plopped back down on his bed and rolled around in the comforters. Ah Si just shook his head at his sister's childish antics and walked outside and to the library.

30 minutes later, Xia got bored and got up from her brother's bed to see if he and Shan Cai were done talking. She found him in the library, alone.

"Hey, what happened? I thought I was supposed to talk to Shan Cai next?" She asked him and he looked at her with a bit of anger still in his eyes.

"She rejected me." He simply said as he continued to brood.

"I'm sorry, what? How did she reject you? Did you even ask her out? Knowing you, it must have been in a stupid way." Xia said as she took a seat on one of the couches.

"Hey, whose side are you on? Are you even my sister? I offered to let her be my girlfriend and she rejected me." Ah Si told her.

"Did you just say you offered? My god, Ahia! No wonder she rejected you. You don't just offer someone to become your girlfriend. You romance them, show them love and care, buy them nice gifts, and surprise them. The only thing you did with Shan Cai is send her a joker card and then kidnap her. Of course, she's going to say no." Xia scolded her brother who just stayed silent, letting his sister's words sink in. Xia rolled her eyes.

"Why are you clueless when it comes to us women? You have 2 sisters for crying out loud." She lamented out loud.

The next day, Xia was walking with her brother and their friends when they passed by Shan Cai and Li Zhen. She noticed her brother's head tilt a little signaling that he was looking at Shan Cai but when Xia looked at the said girl, she found her staring at Lei. She sighed as she knew her suspicions were true. Shan Cai had developed a crush on Lei. She pushed it away from the front of her mind and decided to focus on different things, like her idiot brother.

"Did you guys know that Shan Cai is infatuated with me?" Ah Si said out of the blue which made Xia roll her eyes.

"Sure, looks like it." She muttered under her breath and Mei Zuo, who was walking beside her, heard her and laughed.

"You mean the girl that knocked you out with a kick?" Xi Men clarified.

"Hey, stop laughing. You don't believe me?" Ah Si told Mei Zuo.

"I believe you. I believe you." Mei Zuo sarcastically replied.

"I knew nobody could say no to my charm. That girl says one thing, but means another." Ah Si supplied which earned an eyeroll from Xia and she pretended to fake vomit behind her brother's back.
