The guys were playing Bridge when Xi Men started a conversation.

"Mei Zuo, who did you go on a date with yesterday? You weren't answering your phone." He addressed the question to Mei Zuo. The rest of the guys knew he was putting on a façade. They knew he was acting like the breakup with Xia didn't affect him that much but they could see right through it. However, they were guys. And they didn't want to bring that topic up with him.

"It's a secret." Mei Zuo replied mysteriously.

"Why are you being so mysterious? Didn't you mention the other day that you're going out with an older woman?" Xi Men exposed. Mei Zuo looked at Lei and Ah Si who had blank expressions on their faces. Both of them had talked to Xia regarding the break up, they knew the real reason, and weren't happy that Mei Zuo was acting like he was okay and Xia was drowning herself in work, modelling, and studies.

"Where did you guys go during the holiday?" Mei Zuo asked, changing the subject. And Ah Si sighed as he breathed deeply. He promised Xia he wouldn't hurt Mei Zuo or say anything to him regarding the truth behind the break up.

"Lei, what did you do?" Mei Zuo asked Lei.

"I slept, video called with Princess and played games at home." Lei smugly answered.

"Never mind." Mei Zuo said as Lei mentioned Xia.

"How about you, Ah Si? You must have been happy on your date with Shan Cai." Xi Men prodded.

"What's there to be happy about?" He asked in a moody tone.

"Did you two fight again? No way. Is Shan Cai that hard to figure out?" Xi Men asked in disbelief.

"Who says Shan Cai is the problem? Ah Si, you have a bad temper." Mei Zuo spoke.

"You're wrong." Ah Si denied.

"How could Ah Si be the problem? Ah Si has always been straightforward and honest. His temper is just a little bit bad. But is that a crime?" Xi Men stated.

"That's right. It's all Shan Cai's fault. Who knew Shan Cai's IQ would be so low?" Mei Zuo added.

"That's right. Falling in love with a person with low IQ will also make your IQ low." Xi Men supplied.

"Are you done talking? You're babbling. Aren't you tired?" Ah Si had enough. He threw his cards on the table and walked out.

Xia was still at work when her phone started ringing. She looked at it and saw Hua Ze Lei calling. She smiled as she picked up.

"Leilei!" She happily said, welcoming the much-needed distraction from work.

"Hi. How's my princess doing?" He asked her with a smile.

"Good. I'm still at work though. I'm trying to finish as much paper work as I can. I'm not as stressed as I was since Achi came back. But mom's coming home so I want to show her that I did a great job while she was away. I'm currently on top of everything so that's good." Xia narrated.

"That's good. How are your classes? Modelling?" Lei asked and Xia went on to explain it all.

"So, what are you planning on doing for the holidays?" He asked her and she thought about it. She really didn't have any concrete plans.
