Chapter 37

Xia was sitting up in a floatie in the middle of the pool. She was reading a magazine and had one earphone on, listening to music. She was secretly ogling Mei Zuo's half naked form and hiding her face behind the magazine she was reading. Mei Zuo walked toward's Xi Men who was seated on the edge of the pool with his feet in the water, watching Xia to make sure nothing happened to her.

"Hey. What is Ah Si doing? Why isn't he back yet?" Mei Zuo asked Xi Men. Xia and Lei shared secret glances. He had told her of his plan and she was all for making her brother suffer for a few hours.

"I have a feeling that Ah Si won't be back tonight." Xi Men declared.

"You're trying to say something. Tell me. What's going on?" Mei Zuo asked him. Xi Men looked at Lei who looked like he wasn't paying attention but was listening carefully.

"Ah Si called me yesterday and asked me where Shan Cai lives." Xi Men told Mei Zuo.

"Is Ah Si pursuing Shan Cai again? No way. Isn't Shan Cai with Lei now?" Mei Zuo asked and they both looked at Lei who only shrugged.

"I'll call Ah Si." Xi Men said as he stood up and dried his hands before picking up his phone to dial Ah Si's number.

"Hello, Ah Si. Where are you now?" Xia couldn't hear what was being said but she could imagine the look on her brother's face and couldn't help but giggle. Mei Zuo looked over at her before diving into the pool and swimming to where her floatie was.

"Princess, do you know something I don't?" He asked her and she feigned innocence.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" She asked him in a confused tone.

"Well, then. Why did you giggle?" Mei Zuo thought she really didn't know anything and Xia inwardly smiled, knowing she was off the hook.

"I was looking at pictures of half-naked guys." She innocently joked as she showed him a 2-page ad filled with half naked men.

"Hey, give that to me. You aren't allowed to look at anyone else like that except for me." He said as he tried reaching for the magazine.

"Xixi is half naked, I'm looking at him right now." Xia playfully argued as she stared at Xi Men.

"You don't giggle like a school girl when you look at him." Mei Zuo retorted.

"You want me to do it?" Xia playfully teased and laughed as Mei Zuo pouted up at her.

That night, Xia looked at the pictures she was planning to post. One was a picture of her standing in front of the camera with Mei Zuo behind her, both of them holding the bump and looking lovingly into each other's eyes. Another one was her with the rest of F4; they were in a line and Ah Si, Lei and Xi Men held small chalkboards that said 'Uncle' while Mei Zuo held one that said 'Dad' as Xia held one that said 'Mum' and they smiled at the camera. The last one was a copy of one of the ultrasound pictures on her phone. It was the one where the gender of the baby wasn't revealed yet. She and Mei Zuo decided to keep that a secret from the general public until she gave birth; that meant that only their friends and family would know. She sighed happily as she wrote the caption.
