(I'm sick AF, excuse any major spelling errors if there are any. I'm really trying, I swear!)

Later that day, I decided that I was in need of hygiene. Like, go and wash myself. But I remembered what 'That's for me to know and for you to think about' said. My tail returns as soon as I make contact with water. So I had to go to the lake around midnight, wash myself, get out and dry myself as quickly as possible to then return to the tent.

All in an hour before any of the guys realize I'm gone. I know for a fact that they sleep with 1 eye open like snipers. So I'd have to be very careful. Very discreet. Very mysterious like the night.

~~Around 11 pm~~

I was laying down on 2 chairs the guy's had propped up for me to lay on. Alexander insisted to swap places when I went to lay down. I declined and laid down. I slowly inhaled and exhaled, turned my back to all of them so they couldn't tell I was awake. "Promise me that you'll find Maria," Laurens told Alexander after they were pretty sure I was asleep. "If you want to get rid of her that badly, go yourself," Alexander hissed in a dangerously low tone and stepped away.

I could hear Laurens curse under his breath before he plopped down on his bed. A few minutes later, the candle was blown out and everything went quiet. I waited for an hour or so and then turned around. I looked at all of their faces to make sure they were asleep. Then by listening to their breathing pattern, I could confirm that they were indeed asleep.

I slowly put my feet onto the grass, feeling the mud under my bare feet. (Pause for coughing so I don't die) I slowly got out of the tent, making sure that I was silent and subtle. When I got outside, I walked towards the lake I'd spotted when Laurens brought me to Maria the first time. It was close enough for me to walk towards with my wobbly legs but far enough from the camp.

When I arrived, I took a good look at it. The lake was placed around the beginnings of the deeper parts of the forests, making it have a curious look. I sighed as I walked around it for a bit until I found I spot where I could easily get in and out.

When I found that spot, I took off everything I had to and dove into the water. I immediately felt my legs merged into 1 big tail. I deeply inhaled the crisp and cold water. I relaxed as I turned on my back and floated around for a bit.

When I was sure that I felt clean, I swam above water. I looked around and spotted a rock in the middle of the lake sticking out of the water. I swam towards it and sat on top of it. I sighed as water from my soaked hair dripped on the almost dry rock.

To pass the time, I slowly sang a melody which was stuck inside my head as long as I could remember. The thing when I sing is that I fall into this trance. I just concentrate on the melody and my breathing.

John's P.O.V

I was outside the tent, walking around. Why? Because I keep having nightmares and I refuse to lay back down and sleep. So I walked around camp, towards the woods. I was planning to go to my usual spot, the lake.

It was just a way to keep away from my life. Look at the water splash around and listen to the evening sounds.

When I came closer to the lake, I heard a distant female voice sing. It was like I lost every self-containment I had.

3rd Person P.O.V

His head, unwillingly, snapped towards the sound. His eyes became dull. His legs marched towards the sound. When he reached the edge of the lake he stopped and looked up to see a figure sitting on top of a rock.

Without any second thoughts, he stepped into the lake. Boots on, jacket on. Completely ignoring the fact that he couldn't swim even if his life depended on it. The lake was deep around the rock.

Y/N, on the other hand, had no idea what was going on behind her. She kept singing, denying the major consequences she was born with.

Her angelic voice made John grow dizzier and dizzier. When the water hit his shoulders, Y/N decided that maybe she'd have to get off the rock. So she turned around to get off the rock and saw John reaching out for her. She immediately yelped making John immediately snap out of his trance. He blinked and his sharp, glossy orbs returned.

He looked around, panicked and suck to the bottom. Y/N panicked immediately and dove in after him. When she did, she saw him slowly fall down, head first. He had probably hit something on his way down since there was a red streak following him in the water. She dove further and reached out for John's loose hand.

When she had a grip on his hand, she began to swim up again. But when she was, a purple substance ripped out her chest and formed an aura around her. It looked like the purple liquid she drank but more smokey.

"Just kiss him and you'll have your legs," It whispered.

Y/N shakily looked at John. His head was down, he looked pretty lifeless. But she was sure that he was alive. She took a good look at him as he lip began to quiver like she wanted to say something.
