Harry put down his pen and walked out of his office space. Hermione did not even try to question or stop him. An unopened letter remained lonely on a full, swamped desk. The curly-haired witch took half the stack of papers off her best friend's desk and went to work. She knew he had not been the same since Ginny left him three years ago. This time of year always had its way of bringing him down. The snowy cobbled streets of Hogsmeade only further reminded him of Ginny, of where he proposed—where he had asked her to spend what he did not know would be a temporary forever with her.
