Draco: "I did not figure it out until their passing."

Harry: "They raised you, of course you consider them your parents."
Draco: "Lucius had a brother. He was always hidden from the Malfoy bloodline; he was a blood-traitor. His name was Alstar. He fell in love with who would later on become Pandora Lovegood, Luna's mother. They kept it locked away, fearful of what would happen if exposed. She was a Muggle-born. They got pregnant, but Alstar faked the child's death once she gave birth. He was a seer; he could see the future. He knew they both would be killed for their sin. He obliviated her mind, in hopes of setting her free. She went on to marry Luna's father, and shortly afterwards Alstar was killed for his sin. Pandora was next. It was only made to look like a magical accident, so, nobody would be suspicious that Mudbloods and blood-traitors were still getting slaughtered. However, nobody but Alstar, Lucius, and Narcissa knew the child had survived."
Draco: "They are my birth parents- Pandora and Alstar. I am the child nobody knows about."
