"Let us begin." Incendium watched as Optimus tossed the Matrix of Leadership around, approaching Sentinel Prime.

"This is incredible." She heard Carly mouth.

"Sentinel Prime, we bid you return." He spoke. The Matrix Of Leadership was pushed into his chassis and the Autobot gasped. He attacked Optimus, pinning the Prime to the ground.

"Hold your fire!" Will commanded.

"Sentinel!" Optimus pleaded. "It is I, Optimus Prime!" He struggled. Sentinel's optics widened as his attacks ceased.

"It is alright, you are safe." Optimus assured. Ratchet, Ironhide, Bee, Sideswipe and Incendium rushed to calm the new recruit.

"There is nothing to fear." Ratchet spoke.

"We are here. You are home, Sentinel." Optimus pushed himself up as Incendium rushed to get him on his pedes. She avoided Sentinel's gaze, but she assumed he could see her flaring red optics. Optimus grabbed the Matrix, nodding at Incendium for a quiet gratitude.

"The war.....the war!" Sentinel recalled.

"The war was lost. Cybertron is now but a barren wasteland. We have taken refuge here on planet earth. Its human race is our ally."

"My ship! We came under fire. The pillars....where are the pillars?" Sentinel demanded.

"You saved five of them, including the control pillar."

"Only five? We once had hundreds!"

"Excuse me, gentlemen! May I ask, what is this technology you are looking for?" Director Mearing interrupted.

"It is the ability to reshape the universe. Together the pillars form a spacebridge I designed. And I alone can control it. It defies your laws of physics to transport matter through time and space."

"You're talking about a teleportation device aren't you?"

"Yes. For resources, for refugees." Optimus confirmed.

"Refugees or troops of soldiers...weapons! Maybe bombs, a means of instant strike. That's it's military function isn't it?"

"It is our technology!" Sentinel protested. "And it must be returned."

"Yes, if humans say so. You can't just bring weapons of mass destruction into our atmosphere! Kind of have to clear customs first. A little formality called paperwork, kind of separates us from the animals."

"I will overlook your condescending tone, if you heed the gravity of mine. The Decepticons must never know the spacebridge is here. For in their hands, it would mean the end of your world." Sentinel huffed. His optics studied Incendium, who turned away and start making her return to the remaining Autobots.

"I see you have a Decepticon companion." She heard Sentinel mumble to Optimus.

"She is an ally, Sentinel. Her reasons are just. She was a former U.S Naval Officer and has been defending earth her entire life. One's heritage does not define their path." Optimus growled.

"Perhaps." He considered. "What is her name?"

"Incendium." Optimus answered. "Incendium Prime." He then whispered.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." Optimus managed to stutter out. Sentinel watched the Prime beside him, who continued to gawk at Incendium. He didn't notice her walking towards him.

"Optimus, I'm heading out." Her voice filled through his audio receptors, but never stopped to process what she had said. Not until he snapped out of trance.

"Why?" He asked.

"To look at the stars and planets." Incendium informed. Her optics then moved towards Sentinel, his gaze pushing her down. Her helm lowered, almost in a bow.

"Sentinel." Optimus growled. The new Autobot ceased his glowering, and his optics blinked in confusion.

"Ah, my apologies. I do tend to have an intimidating gaze."

"It's nothing." Incendium nodded. "Perhaps you would like to view the night sky on earth. It's not much, since the planet has been polluted....but it's what we've got." She offered. And soon enough, three vehicles exited the base as Will grunted. He then signaled for them to continue. They all stopped at the place Optimus found Incendium a few moments ago. Sentinel nodded at the stars that shone brightly. Incendium leaned on Optimus, making sure that Sentinel didn't see them.

"So majestic and peaceful, this planet." Sentinel gazed at the sun rising slowly. The clouds had tints of gold and silver as the celestial light rose higher into the sky. "Unlike the final days of Cybertron." Optimus rose, setting Incendium gently on the ground.

"I've wondered what might've been, if you had fought the final battle, instead of me."

"Never mourn the past, young warrior. Thanks to you, our race has survived." Optimus knelt in front of Sentinel, the Matrix Of Leadership in his servos.

"You were our leader, Sentinel. It is your right to lead us, again." He pushed the Matrix towards Sentinel, who grasped it, studying its features.

"In a world I do not know? I am no longer your teacher, Optimus. You are mine." Sentinel returned the Matrix back, glimpsing behind the Prime. "I see you have grown affectionate for her." Optimus lowered his helm, afraid of the next words.

"She has a strong and passionate mind, I think you need someone like her."
