35) Battle to the End

"I bring you Cybertron, your home. And still you choose humanity."

"You were there one that taught me freedom is everyone's rights."

"I will trigger that pillar!" Sentinel claimed, struggling to keep Optimus at bay. Incendium dodged as the Decepticons fired at her, being occupied with the incoming missiles, she crashed into a building. Bumblebee tore at the rubble to help her up, while Optimus and Sentinel parried, there were no clear shots to take Sentinel out.

"I need reinforcements! Decepticons ships, fire at Optimus!" Sentinel commanded, all the ships above groaned in obedience. There were soldiers shouting into their walkie-talkie, demanding for more air reinforcements from the navy. "Decepticons! Trigger the pillar! Restart that pillar!"

"Incendium, cover the air, protect Optimus!" Ratchet shouted. Not yet shifted from a jet to a Maserati, Incendium transformed and launched to the skies. Some of the missiles that the naval forces sent pierced through the ships, but some remained and were persistent in taking down Optimus. Hovering over the battle, she knocked down the remaining ships. A streak of light restarted and Cybertron had resumed its transport.

"Someone shut down that pillar! Destroy it!" Incendium cracked through the intercom, Bee buzzed back. "Also, can I permanently choose to be a fighter jet? I feel like you guys need more Air Force. Honestly, hasn't any other Autobot thought to be a jet?"

"There's no right or wrong time to choose an alt mode. Do whatever makes you happy." Ratchet answered.

"Optimus makes me happy, can I do him?"

"I'm going to pretend I never heard that." He grumbled. Incendium stifled a laugh as she veered into another direction.

"Decepticon ships, take out Optimus and Megatron's heir!" Sentinel added in. The horde of Decepticon ships broke off into groups, one party focused on Optimus while the others followed Incendium. All the Autobots could hear Incendium curse into the intercom, with missiles barely missing her in the background. Optimus kicked Sentinel away, taking a few shots at the ships that were attempting to fire at him.

"Incendium, bring all the Decepticon ships to my location." Optimus ordered.

"With all due respect Optimus–"

"Do it!" Optimus demanded urgently. Incendium sighed as she charged directly at the alien ships, forcing them to shift directions. She then veered back to where Optimus and Sentinel were battling.

"Now!" Lennox cried as thousands of missiles zipped through the air, eliminating all the alien ships. Incendium transformed next to Lennox, exhaling in relief. "You always make it harder for yourself." Incendium glanced up at Cybertron, it was closer than ever. But she had to admit, it was a beautiful sight. She could see buildings glowing, like the New York City skyline. While Sentinel was distracted, a soldier fired a flamethrower, which threw the traitorous Cybertronian back. He transformed and drove away as Optimus chased after him.

"Always the bravest of us!" Sentinel grunted. "But you could never make the hard decisions! Our planet will survive!" Sentinel claimed as he kicked away Optimus' weapon, plunging his own weapon into Optimus. Incendium hovered over them, trying to find a clear shot, but no luck. She watched as Sentinel tore off Optimus' arm.

"No!"

"We were gods once! All of us!"

"Please!"

"There can only be one!" Sentinel raised his sword and Incendium primed her missiles to shoot. When another blast caught them all off-guard, chasing Sentinel away. Incendium shifted from a jet and carefully dragged Optimus.

"This is my planet!" Megatron growled as he kicked Sentinel. Incendium could see the streak of light connecting to Cybertron end, pushing away the planet from Earth. Optimus hung his head and Incendium could see the faintest bit of sadness in his optics.

"Now, we need a truce. All I want is to be back in charge. Besides, who would you be without me, Prime?" Megatron suggested, throwing Sentinel's body like a piece of trash.

"Time to find out." Optimus curled his lips, grabbing his axe and pushing the blade into Megatron's face. Incendium watched, with satisfaction but in horror as Optimus ripped her father's head off. Megatron's optic lights faded away, staring directly at Incendium. She had no idea how to explain it, was it grief? Hatred? Relief?

"Optimus, all I ever wanted was the survival of our race. You must see why I had to betray you." Sentinel reasoned. Incendium was lost, her head was spinning, completely ignoring what was happening.

"You didn't betray me, you betrayed yourself."

"No Optimus!" And a loud canon shot, that's all she heard.

"Incendium....please get up."

"Optimus?"

"I apologize for what I have done to your father."

"No...it's okay. I never loved him." Incendium shook her helm, slowly standing up to see the other Autobots and soldiers. Among them, her optics searched for Ironhide, only to realize that Sentinel had ended his spark. She watched as Sam run to Carly, sharing a kiss. I also miss Mikaela.......

"You fought bravely." Ratchet smiled at Bee and Incendium.

"As did you." Incendium sighed. "So many fallen warriors......"

"The price of war." Ratchet sighed. "Que will be missed." Optimus beckoned first Incendium to follow, she did and they drove through the ruins of Chicago.

"In honor of Que and so many fallen Autobots....." Optimus dragged his flight tech trailer. Incendium helped him reattach it to his truck. They drove back to set up a memorial.

"So, you said you wanted to be a fighter jet?" Lennox raised a brow. "Let's give you more options."

"Thanks, Lennox."

Ahhhhhhh I finished Dark of the Moon! Probably my favorite movie ;-; now onto Age of Extinction.....I'm going to have to cover some things though. Oh, I forgot about Incendium's hands. Yeah, uhhhhhhhh I'll cover that too :P please help me
