10) The Cube

The agents dragged the group to a room, with just a glass box. Sam and Mikaela appeared confused as they glanced around for more.

"Please step inside they have to lock us in." Agent Banachek insisted. Everyone studied each strange feature as Robert and Glen stared at scratch marks on the wall.

"Oh wow, what's that? Freddy Krueger done been up in here or something."

"Oh no man, Freddy Krueger has four blades man. That's only three, that's Wolverine!" Glen corrects Robert, guffawing. "Right? That's Wolverine!"

"That's very funny." Agent Simmons claim sarcastically. "Anybody have any mechanical devices? BlackBerry? Key? Alarm? Cell phone? Nokia?" Agent Simmons requested.

"I got a phone." Glen claimed. He threw it towards Agent Simmons, who luckily caught it. Agent Simmons handed everyone goggles, once he was done he placed the phone inside the box.

"Nokias are real nasty. You got to respect the Japanese, they know the ways of the Samurai." Agent Simmons informed.

"Nokias from Finland." Maggie corrects. Incendium snickered as Agent Simmons shot her a glare of disapproval.

"Yeah but he's you know....a little strange....he's a little strange." The secretary whispers to Maggie and Incendium. Agent Simmons ignored their remarks and their snickers.

"We were able to take the Cube's radiation....and funnel it into that box." Simmons explain. He switches something on, causing a bright flash to appear in the box. The phone started to shake and transformed into a tiny bot. It shrieked as it slammed into the glass.

"Mean little sucker huh." Agent Simmons says with a grin.

"That thing's freaky!" Maggie exclaims. It crashed into the glass, chirping maliciously. The tiny robot began shooting the glass box.

"He's breaking the box." Agent Simmons warns to the group A zap of another light destroys the tiny robotic organism. There was a loud bang echoing through the structure.

"What was that?"

"Gentlemen, they know the Cube is here." The secretary pointed out.

"Banachek, what's going on?" Simmons asked over the monitor.

"Well the NBE-1 hangar lost power." Agent Banachek informed.

"WHAT!?" Simmons and Incendium exclaimed in unison. She rubbed her temple, unable to meet Will's gaze.

"And the backup generator is not just gonna cut it." Agent Banachek added in. Will walked over to Simmons.

"Do you have an arms room?" He asked. Agent Simmons nodded, throwing the doors open to the hallways.

"Get everyone to the NBE-1 chamber now!" Agent Simmons yelled. The entire corridor was a mess, Incendium followed Simmons as Lennox trailed behind to see if everyone made it in the weapon room safely.

"They're popping our generators!" Simmons warns.

"Of all days, I forget to bring my knives."

"Kitchen knives won't hurt these organisms, honey." Agent Simmons scoffed.

"Neither will these tiny bullets. But might as well cut them down to pieces." She snapped back. Will intercepted, his eyebrows furrowed as a reminder.

"You got to take me to my car." Sam finally spoke. The entire room fell silent. Agent Simmons shook his head rapidly, continuing to arm himself.

"Take him to his car. Now." Incendium snarled. "It's the only thing that can help us!"

"His car? It's confiscated."

"Then unconfiscate it." She threatened. "He won't hurt humans, he knows what to do with the Cube."

"Maybe you know, but I don't know."

"Well with those guns you won't be able to defeat Megatron! They have the weapons to stop the Decepticons!" Incendium protested. "So you want to sit here and wait to see what happens? Megatron is in the same structure as the Cube, you shouldn't underestimate his ability to find it."

"I have people's lives at stake here, Captain Haugen."

"And the entire world will be at stake if you don't bring this man to his car!"

"Take them to their car." Will finally muttered out. In one move, Will pins Agent Simmons aiming a rifle directly at him and another man, who had their gun pointed at Will.

"Drop it."
