Never Alone(Sequel to Back to Life)

It's the day I see and spend time with Caitlin. I haven't told her when I was going to arrive, I am going to surprise her with my presence. We have just finished the European leg of the tour. I don't know how I survived it. I still hide behind clothes like shirts, jackets and certain t-shirts nothing like I used to wear. My problems with remembering are still there and I still use an aid to remember. And I am still not in the middle I stand to the side to let the others have centre stage. I would have been to see Caitlin earlier but we had to reschedule some shows because of someone. ME. I got poorly with stress, pneumonia and exhaustion because of the stuff going on with the record company and no one allowed me to quit. I even got dragged back from my break home to rejoin the others on our tour. So here I am on a private jet off to see my girl, Caitlin. I am so happy to see her. Nobody is with me I am on my own. Everyone else flew back to the States but for me, I am flying to England. Sorry for the pun but::: got a date, can't be late, I can't wait. 

I soon arrive in her city. As I get there, I get a rental car and drive to her place. The roads are smaller over here and they have these things called roundabouts which are nasty. Next time I am getting a driver.

I stop to buy some flowers to give to her for all the help and support she has given me. I don't know what I would have done without her. I get to her door and knock while placing the bunch of flowers in front of me so she can't see me. I hear the door open and nothing. I wait. 

"Can I help you?".

" Yeah, I am looking for this amazing girl who lives here". She gasps as she recognises my Boston accent.

"Jordan"

"Yeah the one and only" as I give her the flowers. Max her dog appears at the door. He barks at me first then realises its me and wags his tail. Max licks my hand as I talk to Caitlin.

"What are you doing here?. You're early"

"Come to spend some time with you. We are on a break from the tour. My boys understand. My mom wants to meet you though. Jon says hi too". 

Caitlin shakes her head. "I am not ready to meet your family yet". I smile as I step towards her and wrap her in my arms. She wraps hers around my neck with the flowers still in her hands. I kiss her.

" Miss you"

"Miss you too" she replied. I smile while kissing her. 

"Love you".

" Love you too" Caitlin replied, "Show me what you mean to me".

" What's in your hands?" I chuckled.

"Not flowers. But physically". She closer to me, pushing her body into mine.

" Not yet. Not ready" I move my hips away. She sighed and moved away. "Don't be like that?".

" Like what?".

"Sulking cos I won't have sex. I am just not ready not mentally ok. Please don't push me" I pleaded. She brought her hand up to my cheek and stroke it looking into my scared eyes.

"Sorry".

" Don't be" I kissed her "It's me".

" OK what shall we do then?". She changes the subject.

"What time is it?" 

"About 7 pm". 

" We could eat as I'm hungry," I said as I nibble at her ear. She giggles and shivers as she can feel my breath down the back of her neck. 

"I need a shower then as I got back from work and gym before you got here".

" I need one too. Travel makes me feel yuck".
