"Sweetie!" Mom said calmly.
"Wake up! You gotta go to camp and meet the new campers plus Mr. Bradford!" She said.
I mumbled saying: "Okay mom, just give me a sec."
"OH YEAH! I FORGOT!" I said louder this time. "Camp!"
"Yes! Now get ready! Today will be a long day for you!" She said smiling.
I was so excited! I was literally jumping up and down. I washed my face and then got dressed up. I hopped to my mom to give her a kiss before I leave.
"Hello there everybody!" I said with a big smile.
"Well hello there, Mitchie!" Tess said.
"I'm just so excited for this! I can't wait! Literally can't describe how I really feel!" I said.
"Same here! Never felt like this before." Barron said later.
As soon as I sat down on the bench next to them, Mr. Bradford appeared along with the new campers...
"Hello there campers! I'm Mr. Bradford Davis, your new manager, and I suppose you'll have new friends here!"
"Oh my! Mr. Bradford Davis! I'm really happy to meet you!" I said.
"Oh thank you! And your name is...?" He said.
"Mitchie, Mitchie Toress!" I said.
"Well nice to meet you Mitchie!" He said.
We all went to greet Mr. Bradford and the new campers. I can't wait until camp gets back to life again.
"Well! I'm looking forward to learning all your names! I'm a friend of Brown, and that's how I got to run camp. I think it's time to introduce you to the new campers!" He said.
"Please welcome Bertha Stephenson and Avril Martin! Then for the boys...We got Blake, Aaron, and Carter Stone! Some many more hadn't arrived yet including the junior rockers and the camp star transfers" He introduced.
Peggy took Mr. Bradford to show him camp, while all of us campers went to tell them everything about camp.
"So how fun is camp?" Avril asked.
"I promise you'll enjoy it! Let's go show you camp along with your new hubs." Shane said.
"Sure! We'd love to!" Aaron said.
The day passed really quickly without us realizing...
"So how about we eat lunch guys?" I suggested.
"Yea! I really am hungry!" Carter said.
We got our trays, all full of yummy food, then sat on the tables. We shared our table with the new campers. They all seemed to enjoy this.
"So we're singing today, huh?" Blake asked.
"Yea, but we all have to agree on a song!" Ella replied.
"Yea for sure." Bertha said.
"Let's sing a famous song" suggested Carter.
"Yeah that's fine" jake pointed.
Now all we need is a song that would make camp shine again....
