halloween - lisoo

a/n: i'm just gonna let you all know that i wrote this a year ago for halloween but never ended up publishing it,, alot of parts were added and if i'm being honest the only thing i wrote here a year ago was the book part, so i added aLOT because my writing was sHitTy so here ya gOooO

it was that day of the year again. the day where everyone dresses up as someone else, eager to show others what they've been stoked for all year.

costumes, parties, drinks and all the other things were norms on this day. someone getting drunk, someone getting fucked, or someone who's drunk getting fucked— those were the things that regularly happen.

but lalisa wasn't fazed with any of them.

halloween is a "holiday" that she never really grew fond of throughout the years. she just treats it as a regular day.

"what's so special about it? it's just a day where you put on costumes and get wasted." was what she says to people who question her why she doesn't attend any parties.

but the people don't care, they just roll their eyes and tell her how lame her life is.

but not jisoo.

"what are you reading?" the blonde asks, her body leaning on the door frame of jisoo's room. it was five o'clock in the afternoon. and she knew, in a few hours, she'll be all alone while the others party.

the girl doesn't look up and just flips a page of her book.

jisoo had always been a fond of reading books. she had one everywhere she went. at the airport, on a roadtrip, during classes, and even that one time in detention were the school counselor scolded her for not being too bored enough.

"unnie~" lisa walks a few steps to sit on the edge of the older girl's bed. jisoo only responds with her right eyebrow raised and another page being flipped.

lisa sighs and just decides to crawl closer to her girlfriend who was too busy reading to even notice her presence. she inches over by the blanket jisoo was wrapped in and manages to catch a glimpse of the book's title. "Attachments" she reads outloud, finally catching the brunette's attention.

"yes. it's such a nice book, lis. you should try and read it." the elder girl still had her eyes glued on the book, "it's lowkey creepy, but the overall story is great. it's my second time reading it." another page is being flipped when lisa grabs hold of jisoo's hand. the girl turns her head and their eyes finally meet, eventhough lisa's been in that room for more over 5 minutes.

"hey~" lisa whispers close as their lips were inches away from each other. jisoo's eyes glance back up and down from the beautiful brown orbs before her and plump lips right below a cute button-like nose.

"hi." jisoo says back, her cheeks slowly rising with a red rosey tint.

"i thought you'd never notice i was here." the blonde laughs earning a soft slap from the latter.

jisoo blushes as if apologizing from her actions. "sorry," she says, placing her bookmark back on the page she was on and putting the book aside.
