"what are you doing?" lisa walks into my room, leo squiggling around in her arms, trying to get away. she tries to tighten her grip around him but he manages to escape and run away causing her to pout and just slowly walk to where i was seated.

"i'm looking at all the blinks who are mad about us not having a comeback." i point to the screen and scroll letting lisa see how many people were angrily tweeting at our boss and threatening him to drop atleast a single teaser.

"but aren't you mad about that, too?" lisa questioned, averting her attention towards me. i nod at her. "exactly. i find it amusing how similar the blinks and i feel. and they don't even know how much it pains us to know they can't enjoy our music."

"our music that we've written a few years back and still hasn't been released?"

"yes."

lisa chuckles at my reaction. my arms were crossed and i probably had a whole grumpy look going on on my face. "don't worry unnie. i mean, we're just a nearly three-year-old group with 9 official songs. one solo from one member and three other solos yet to be released that was promised to be released within this year. like.. we shouldn't stress about that! no! everything's fine. nothing to worry."

"this isn't just nothing to you, lisa."

she glances at me with a sympathetic look.

"come on. you didn't move here at age 15 just to wait and not let the world see how talented you are. it's been years, lisa. you were born to dance, not to sit around in the dungeon of our pathetic boss."

lisa's eyes swell up with tears. i sigh and put my phone down, crawling to the edge of the bed where she was seated. i put my hand on her cheek, "don't ever think that you don't deserve what you have, maknae. you deserve everything this world can offer."

"you have chaeng, jennie, and me. you can trust us. i'm the one you're always with when it comes to craziness but don't forget i can still be here when you need me the most. i'm an unnie for a reason, lisa. i'm here to guide you and well.. be with you. you can't do this alone. none of us can do this alone."

tears started falling down her cheek as i quickly wiped them away. lisa takes hold of my hand, staring right back at me.

"i'm nothing to this group, unnie. everyone hates me. i shouldn't have moved here."

my heart drops. her eyes were sincere. that's how she really felt. people see her as this happy, cute, chic girl on stage. but lisa's always been this soft. this vulnerable. she can never bottle everything up. she breaksdown like everyone else. not because we're idols means we're bulletproof. we're human too, you know.

"that's nonsense, lisa. you're our main dancer. you dance like.. i don't know.. like God choreographed the dance Himself. your vocals are OUTSTANDING. like come on! you sang chaeng's highnote perfectly! you're amazing at interviews eventhough you're shy. you're much better at english compared to me. you speak 4 languages! how is that nothing? blackpink isn't blackpink without you. you know rosé can't live without you.

"the people who hate on you are stupid. how can someone hate someone like you. they don't know who you are. they don't have the right to assume who or how you are. only we can do that." i wink at her as she slaps my shoulder playfully, chuckling away the tears from her face.

"i hate you, unnie." lisa laughs, pulling me into a hug. i hug her back, even tighter, stroking her hair.

"and i love you, maknae."

we stay there hugging for a few more seconds until lisa pulls back, wiping away her tears.

"so.."

"soo..." she repeats.

"do you want to annoy jennie for the rest of the day before she leaves for paris?"

"but i want to annoy chaeng." lisa pouts.

"come on." i stand up from the bed, grabbing lisa's hand as smiles spread across our faces. "i think they're together."

we walk out my room, hand in hand, running out the hallway to jennie's room. and as i thought, there she was, with chaeng bundled up to her side, playing with kuma.
