"Rosie!"

"PARK CHAEYOUNG!" the older girl had enough, screaming her band mate's name on the top of her lungs, stopping the girl in her tracks.

"Are you really just gonna walk away from me?"

Rosie kept silent, her eyes on the ground as Jennie stands in front of her.

"Talk to me, Rosie."

"There's nothing left to talk about, Jennie." she whispers as an answer.

Jennie scoffs, "Nothing? Are you kidding me, Park Chaeyoung?"

"What was that about? You're just gonna walk into the practice room, announcing the dating rumor roaming around is true?"

"I never said it was true."

"Oh, you know what you said." Jennie rolls her eyes.

Rosie crosses her arms, shaking her head. "I don't want to talk about this, Jen."

Just then, the two hear footsteps running towards them, it was Lisa.

"Hey!" the maknae reaches them, her breathing heavy. "What's going on?"

"Oh, Rosie. You didn't tell Lisa?"

Rosé mumbles a soft No.

"Tell me what?" the black-haired girl questions, looking at her best friend in a curious state.

"That she's dating somebody." Jennie answers the question for her.

Lisa's eyes immediately widen. "What?"

"T-the rumors," she stutters, now going in front of Rosé, grabbing the older girl's shoulders as she forces her to look her. "They're true?"

Rosé doesn't reply. She looks past Lisa's shoulder and sees Jennie's face. Disappointment written all over it. Jennie rarely gets disappointed, so the fact she caused this, made Rosé's heart break.

Lisa turns around to look at Jennie in the eye, "Does Jisoo unnie know?"

Jennie shakes her head.

"I'll go tell her."

As Lisa was about to leave, a hand grabs onto her wrist. Rosé's.

"Please don't."

"Rosie. We're a band. She deserves to know."

With that, Rosé lets go of her and lets her run off. Leaving her and Jennie alone, once again.

The younger girl kept quiet, not wanting to initiate a conversation. While Jennie? She was fuming. She felt hurt. Very hurt. After all, how would you react if you found out the person you like likes someone else? Without them telling you?

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jennie now asks in a soft tone, looking up at Rosé with her cat eyes.

"Answer me Rosie, why didn't you tell me?"

The platinum-haired girl looks down at her, their eyes finally connecting as she answers, "I didn't know how."

"You could've just told me."

"It's not that easy, Jen."

Jennie lets out another scoff, "Why do you always say that? You always make up excuses whenever I confront you on these sort of things! Do you not trust me, Rosie?"

"I do." the girl replies, "Of course I do."

"Then why didn't just you tell me!" Jennie raises her voice this time, startling the younger girl.

"Because I know you like me, Jennie!"

Jennie widens her eyes, "What?"

"I've known for a long time..." Rosé says, looking directly at the girl before her.

"That's... unfair."

Now Rosé was the one to scoff, "How is that unfair? You'd never tell me anyway."

Jennie feels her eyes start to water, as if she wasn't stopping herself from crying the moment she ran after the girl, "So what? You give me the news of you dating someone and now you're rejecting me?"

"I don't want to reject you Jennie, that's the thing!"

A tear slips down her cheek, sniffing her snot away, the older girl looks up at her, scared to know what that thing was.

"But it's too late," Rosé finishes, now starting to walk away. Jennie glares at her, grabbing onto her arm.

"Let go of me, Jennie. Please."

"I'm not letting you go, Rosie."

Rosé shakes her head one last time. Making sure their eyes were locked onto each other, she leans in and kisses Jennie on the lips.

It was slow and passionate. Just enough passion to let the girl realize she wasn't on her own.

Jennie pulls away first, her breathing uneven as she tries to catch her breath.

"Now please," tears roll down the younger girl's cheeks, "Let me go."

Jennie takes back her hand as she watches Park Chaeyoung walk away.

It was one kiss. She was supposed to be happy about it. It was a kiss she's been meaning to have with her.

But instead of making her heart beat out of her chest, it made her heart break into a million pieces.

Because instead of a kiss I love you, it was a kiss Goodbye.
