inspired by that episode in bp house where the girls went on ziplines and jisoo was scared for her dear life,, fluff fluff fluff

fun fact: i have finals ongoing this week and i should be studying for chemistry and social science but here i am writing hehe

"slowly, please. my heart so.. bounceu."

"it's not that scary unnie!!" lisa screams at me looking up at the whole on the floor, meeting my vision.

"that's for you to say, you're already down there!"

the zipline guy buckles me in and i felt my heart physically jump out of my body. "slowly slowly."

i look down and see the three other girls just waiting there for me. i feel like a chicken. not like the bok bok bok chicken, like a chicken as in im scared. lisa was bursting out laughing, barely breathing, holding onto chaeyoung. chaeyoung was laughing too but not at me, at lisa. and jennie.. she was just there, staring at me.

"you can do it, unnie!" she mouths, giving me her gummy smile while punching the air to give me more courage.

just then, all the nervousness i was feeling vanished.

or so i thought.

"WAAAAHH!! I–I I KNOW–!!"

the moment i reach the platform below, jennie runs up to me and gives me a hug as i proceed on cursing at the guy above me for lying to me.

"I KNOW YOUR FACE!! GRRRRR!"

a kiss on my cheek snaps me out of my bickering, "you did great, unnie. just one more to go." we stare into each other's eyes, hers reflecting back a sense of love and care. i feel my cheeks heating up and just stay there until we didnt realize the maknaes were already at the other side.

"stop being all lovey-dovey and get over here, oldies!!" lisa yells as we see chaeng just shaking her head.

jennie pulls away from me and holds my hand instead, walking us to the platform. "j-jennie?"

she looks at me in question, "d-do you mind if you go first, again? i-i'm still scared."

she answers with a nod and her hand cups my cheek, "sure, i'll wait for you there."

"w-what if i fall? what if the line breaks? what if–"

"–then i'll just jump after you." she cuts me off, placing a kiss on my nose. the cameras were still filming but our mics were turned off. we couldn't really kiss right now, and you know.. a nose kiss won't do any harm, right?

jennie walks up to the platform and glances back at me before she zips off, "i'll be on the other side."

next thing you know, there she was with the two maknaes and i was still here, standing in fear, my heart back to exploding.

my palms were sweaty and the new guy buckles me in. "this.. safe? yes?" i ask in broke english. he chuckles and nods.

i take another deep breath, still shaking. i open my eyes, seeing jennie standing at the other side, clapping, cheering me on slyly.

"okay, go." i tell the guy and he releases his grip and i fly off. the cold air hitting my face, making my hair go everywhere. my eyes were wide open, just staring at the finish line, jennie, who had the biggest smile on her face. it was true that the nerves die down when you're in the moment.

i reached the platform and believe it or not, i was ready for another.

"see? i know you could do it." jennie pulls me in for a hug and i hug her back, more on instict.

lisa warns me saying our mics were on, but i just smile at her. maybe the blinks would thank us for this subtle moment.
