"i can't i really can't," rosie hides her face behind her hands, shadowing behind the girls in front of her who had no idea what was going on. turns out their normal night in the dorm, isn't so normal anymore.

lisa suddenly turns around, planning on saying something funny to her best friend only to see her crouched down on the floor, sobs erupting out of her. they were so quiet, you could tell she's done this before. and that worried lisa.

lisa doesn't say anything and just leans forward and wraps her arms around the older girl. she feels rosie fall onto her and just bury herself into her chest, her sobs now becoming more vocal and louder. jennie now turns around as well to see the maknaes on the floor hugging. she finds herself about to tease them for being on the floor until she hears rosie sniff loudly. she taps jisoo's shoulder as she crouches down onto their level. she makes eye contact with lisa and with just one look, she already knew what was happening.

this has been going on for the past six months, and all of them were worried if this would continue. they know it would. but it wasn't just rosie, oh no... it was all of them. the year started so rough considering the announcement of jennie's dating scandal. then her supposed break-up. then their US debut which accumulated so much hate towards the kpop industry on how they don't deserve to be known in the western side of the world. then the hate towards lisa for being thai. the hate towards jisoo for being immature and insensitive. the hate towards her and rosie just because they aren't as known as the other two. the hate towards rosie for being herself. how the company mistreats her. their album nowhere to be seen. yang stepping down and resigning. literally all of those things and many more fans don't know about happen behind all the cameras. all their instagram posts. all their stories. the interviews. their smiles. there's always a hidden meaning to everything they're saying. and this is one of the many times they can't take it anymore.

"i-i can't... do this," rosé mumbles into lisa's chest. her hair is being stroked by jisoo while jennie's rubbing her back up and down. "i'm just so tired, lisa."

they all perk up at the mention of lisa's name. jennie and jisoo already know why hers was the special mention knowing what's truly going on between the two. lisa closes her eyes and leans down, kissing the top of rosé's head. she hugs the girl even tighter than before, whispering into her ear, she makes sure she hears it, "i'm so proud of you, chaeng."

rosie shakes her head, not wanting to believe those stupid words her mind doesn't want to comprehend.

"i am too," jennie adds into the conversation. the blonde looks up slowly, meeting jisoo's eyes as their unnie nods, "me too." she says making them all laugh.

rosie's laughs die down and she goes back into hugging the girl in front of her. inhaling her scent she's all so up for. "we've all gone through so much, chaeng." lisa tells her, grabbing her face and makes her look at her directly.

their eyes meet and all she sees are the watery ones rosie was trying so hard to hide. "i remember how many times we all wanted to quit back when we were trainees. or when we debuted. when we did our first performance. our first concert. yet, here we are. still here. we can't give up now."

lisa hears someone start sniffing and she was positive it was her beloved, jennie unnie. jennie starts sobbing as well as she leans herself onto jisoo, grabbing the girl tight around her shoulder as she just lets it all out.
