the two girls walk into tbe room, hand in hand. chaeyoung's been waiting for this day ever since she met her.

"–and this is my bedroom," she says with a big smile on her face, her attention more on the designs and the layout of where everything is placed. it was like nothing changed.

instead of looking at the room, lisa decides to look more at chaeyoung. her face practically screamed happiness. she's never seen her this happy and excited about something other than they day yang announced that they were finally gonna debut.

chae lets go of lisa's hand and runs over to the windowsill, it had this ledge she sits on where she finishes her homework or just the place she spends most her time singing her lungs out to beyoncé.

the thai follows behind, sitting herself down right in front of the girl. their eyes find their ways to each other, connecting once again.

"this feels... nice."

lisa grins, putting her hand out for chaeyoung to hold, "does it really?"

"no, it feels more than nice," the space closes in between them as their lips touch. lisa smiles into the kiss making her heart beat faster than normal. "it's perfect."

"you're perfect." she adds once they pull away, rubbing her thumb up and down chae's hand.

chaeyoung shakes her head, her cheeks burning bright red.

"oh stop being too humble," lisa teases her, tucking loose hair behind her ear.

"i'm not,"

their smiles quickly turn into frowns, with lisa knowing exactly why. chaeyoung's not being too humble, she's insecure. she always has been. she's insecure about her body eventhough lisa never fails go remind her how she's the most beautiful girl on this planet (well aside from their other members, of course.)

"come here." lisa cooes, stretching her arms out to invite chae for a hug. she gladly crawls over and stuffs her face in lisa's shirt, the soft material managing to muffle her sniffs and sobs. lisa strokes her back for a couple of minutes, not saying anything.

sometimes it was better this way. just staying silent while the other just releases all their emotions. you don't necessarily have to say something all the time. it's already a win that someone's there when you're the downest you've ever been—and that's okay.

"lis~?" chaeng looks up from her little hiding spot, calling lisa's name.

"you know," she starts chuckling, sitting up straight to wipe off all the snot and tears from her face. "i never thought i'd be able to bring you back here. you know, in melbourne."

"the place where you grew up?" lisa continues on, deciding to finally stand up and look around the room.

the room wasn't small. dear god, was it not. it was more of a master bedroom. as you enter you already see the giant bed, baby pink sheets covering the matress and chaeyoung's favorite stuffed toy settled on the top of the pillows. her bedside table consisted of a lamp that had a whole disney design to it with all the disney princesses and lyrics of the most iconid disney songs the two of them always sing when they're alone.

beside the lamp was a small box, lisa picks it up and inspects it as she sees the initials engraved on it. "R.P." she says out loud, "Roseanne Park."

chaeyoung just smiles even wider as she watches her girlfriend take a peek at her childhood belongings. most of her important stuff are back in korea but all the things in here were the one's that she holds near and dear to her heart. they all had a deeper meaning than one could interpret. like the lamp. for the people who just walk into the room, they'd think it's just a regular lamp that lights up when it's dark. but no, that lamp is a symbol and constant reminder of her obsession with disney. that obsession that she even influenced lisa to contribute in.

"hey, i know this necklace," lisa turns around, a huge giddy smile on her face and the said accessory in her hand. "you brought it home."

chaeyoung stands up and walks to to her, looking at the necklace that she was talking about.

"oh," she chuckles, finally realizing what it was. "yeah, i did."

the necklace was something lisa gave her back when they were trainees. it was the first ever gift she gave her, and that was the time their unnies got even more curious to what was happening between the two.

lisa had one just the same as chaeyoung's but it was back in korea. she always asked her why she doesn't wear it anymore and feared that the girl lost it and just didn't want to admit that fact.

but now she managed to find it, in her girlfriend's childhood bedroom. safely put in a box that had all the other valuable things she grew up with.

"turn around," lisa tells her with chaeyoung being compliant. she slowly puts the necklace on her neck and it locks with a click. chaeyoung turns back around, looking down on the small charm hanging on it.

"there she is," the thai whispers to herself but chaeng still ended up hearing.

"what?" she questions with an eyebrow raised. lisa just smiles and pulls her in by the waist, planting a quick peck on her lips before answering.

"–the girl i fell in love with."

chaeyoung chuckles, playfully slapping lisa's shoulder.

"you look the same, chae." lisa starts explaining, grabbing her hand as they walk back to the windowsill. "but seeing you with that... it feels different."

"different?"

"it's like i'm fifteen and falling in love with you all over again." lisa doesn't even deny as she takes the initiative and leans in for another kiss. and another. and another.

"i'm glad you took this home," she pertains to the necklace.

chaeng holds onto it with a smile, "the moment you gave it to me, i knew i had to keep it somewhere. that's why i decided to leave it here."

"why?"

"because you and this place have one thing in common."

lisa pauses at the thought, "we're the ones that provide you food when you're hungry?"

"no!... well–"

"because i'm your home?" lisa finally answers with a grin. looking straight into chaeyoung's eyes as she manages to find a sparkle. that sparkle she always loved seeing.

"yes," the girl answers truthfully, "and now that you're here, it's like my home is in my home."

lisa couldn't resist and kisses her again. "you're too cute."

chaeyoung blushes and shakes her head, standing up as she remembers she brought lisa to her house for a tour. questioning herself why they took a u-turn to take a look at her room when she hasn't even introduced lisa the ground floor.

"let's go," she offers lisa her hand as lisa grabs onto it, following her girlfriend's footsteps as they walk out, "i still have to show you the kitchen."
