"Bye mom. I'm going to school." Jennie said screaming through the whole house knowing her mom doesn't even care. She doesn't get a reply and sighs in ignorance and walks out the door, putting both earphones in. Jennie's mom never cared about her her whole life. She just lays on her bed 24/7, smokes, and drinks bottles and bottles of alcohol through out the day. Jennie always had in mind to leave her mom and just go on with a normal life, but one thing tha stops her from doing this, its her little sister, Ella. Ella has been the one keeping Jennie happy. Keeping her from all the problems she has been through. And Jennie's thankful for that. She's glad she has her sister to hold on to when her world is just completely falling apart.

Jennie scratches the back of her neck trying to forget hed thoughts. Overthinking isn't the only thing she has to face everyday, she still needs to keep her life a secret. Everyone thinks Jennie Kim is this smart kid, with no problems at all, and just has this normal life. But she's just been living in a life of lies. Shw kept this fake smile of hers for years and years, and now that she's graduating, Jennie's just waiting for all of this to be over. She grunts to herself and just falls to her knees on the concrete sidewalk. She puts her hands on her face and cries. Crying makes her forget. It makes her think of what the actual point of her existence is. She feels pain, and she knows that. But no one knows pain until you're staring at yourself in the mirror with tears streaming down your face and just begging yourself to just hold on and be strong. That is pain.

Just then, Jennie feels someone standing above her. She looks up and finds this tall, slim, blonde girl  looking down at her, asking if she's okay. Jennie stands up, furiously wiping her tears away. "I'm fine" she says grabbing her bag, walking away. The girl stands behind her, confused. She follows behind Jennie not saying another word. They reach the school gates until the blonde went up to her.

"Hey if you need anyone to talk to, you can talk to me." she says smiling.

"I'm Lalisa, Lalisa Manoban. But you can me Lisa, for short." Lisa puts her hand out, indicating  to shake the other girl's hand.

"Look, I really don't know who you are, or what you're up to," Jennie glares and says pointing her finger to Lisa's chest pinning her against a brick wall. "But never, and I mean NEVER, talk about what you saw back there. Understand?" Lisa nods in return.

"Good."

Jennie lets go of her and walks inside. She walked to the restroom and just stood there in front of the mirror, thinking of what she had just done. She had never been like that to anyone. Jennie shakes her head and washes her face to calm herself down. She stayed there for a few minutes until the bell rang, grabbing her bag and went to her first class, Chemistry. Jennie walked in, seeing familiar faces, smiling at them.

"Hey Jennie!" Jisoo said from the back of the room. Jisoo is one of Jennie's close friends. They've been friends since the start of highschool. Being seatmates when they were freshman, it just went along since then. But Jisoo doesn't know the real Jennie. And Jennie was perfectly okay with that. No one needs to know what she's truly like. She's okay with living of what people think of what she is. Her fake identity, fake personality. It's totally fine.

"How's my mandoo mandoo?" Jisoo asks as Jennie, pinching her cheek as she puts her bag by her chair.

"The usual." Jennie says laughing, sitting down. Jisoo laughs along with her, not really knowing why her response needed a laugh but ended up laughing anyway. She walks away a few moments later, leaving Jennie alone. She sighed to herself and listened to music again. She had this classical music playing, which makes her feel calm. The gentle playing of the piano, all the notes blending together making you imagine this perfect world that you're one hundered percent sure, would never come true. Jennie looked out the window, trying to find some peace. She closes hed eyes and just drifts off. Knowing that whatever she does to make her life "normal", nothing is going to be any different.
