"And if the rainy days are spent with my head against your chest
feeling the vibrations of your laughter, then I'd welcome a thousand rainy days with you."

--

Rosie opens her eyes, a small yawn escaping out of her. She could already smell it in the air, the window's already open which only meant one thing– "You're awake."

She tilts her head to the side to be greeted by the one and only smile she wakes up to every single day. "Good morning, poopsie." Lisa leans down and plants a quick kiss on the older girl's forehead, knowing Rosie doesn't approve of morning kisses because she claims she has bad breath.

Rosie whines like a kid, feeling all giddy. She's been in a relationship with her bestfriend for about 7 years now but she's still not used to the love Lisa constantly showers her with. "Here," Lisa turns around for a second and turns back to reveal the hot cup of chocolate she prepared for her girlfriend. Rosie sits up, brushing the stray hairs off her face before grabbing the cup.

She takes her time inhaling the addicting scent of chocolate before taking a sip. She smiles, humming that she's satisfied. Lisa just stares at her the whole time, not moving an inch.

"How long have you been awake?" Rosie asks, the australian accent as thick as ever after she moved back to Australia a year or two ago.

"Not that long," Lisa answers, leaning forward to stroke the girl's cheeks. She followed Rosie to Australia. Well, of course, how could she not?

Chaeng's cheeks were getting chubby again, which Lisa was incredibly thankful for. Back when they were still touring the world, Chae lost most of her weight, also losing her signature chipmunk-cheeks. "You looked too peaceful while sleeping. It'd be a sin if I woke you up."

The cup gets put down on the dresser as the older girl faces Lisa with a full grin. "I love you," she confesses out of the blue. She leans closer and wraps her arms around the thai's small waist. "I'm so happy you're with me."

Lisa doesn't reply, hearing the loud sound of rain pattering on their roof. The cold air managing to get through their curtains, making her shiver a little.

"You hear that?" she asks, Rosé nodding with a grin.

Lisa suddenly stands up, putting her hand out for the girl to grab, "Come on,"

Rosie takes her hand as they head outside.

The raindrops were loud, bouncing off the roof and onto the hard cement. Lisa sits themselves down by the porch, handing her girlfriend a raincoat. "Wear that," she tells her, wearing one on her own.

"Unless you don't want to," she checks back, seeing Rosie just has a plain look on her face.

The Australian doesn't say anything and just wears the raincoat, stepping out into the rain as Lisa stares at her, longingly.

The rain only got harder as time passed by. The raindrops got larger and by the time you couldn't even see anything, Lisa goes up to Chaeyoung.

"Are you happy?" she questions her, putting her hands on her waist so they can dance in the middle of their walkway.

Chae turns around at the voice, looking up to see Lisa's doe eyes. Her smile was wide, bright enough to compete with the Sun.

"Is that even a question?" Lisa shrugs.

"Of course I am, Lili." Chae grins, leaning down to nuzzle her head on the girl's chest. "I can't believe I met you."

"Where would you be without me?"

"Probably still training," the girl answers.

The rain didn't subside that day, but the two didn't seemed to care, either. They danced and whispered sweet nothings into each other's ears, telling the other how much they love them.

Lisa looks down at her watch, "Let's go back inside," she tells Chaeyoung, her head leaning on her chest.

Chaeng's hand clutches tighter onto Lisa shirt, "Five more minutes," she pleads, tilting her head up to kiss the thai on the lips.

Lisa grins, kissing her back.

Rainy days had always been her favorite.
