I couldn't help but stare. I was frozen in place, just watching Daniel and Natalie's lips together in sync. Daniel had Natalie pinned down on the top of his car. Natalie's hair was soaked, and sprawled out on the top of his car. Daniels hair was adorably stuck to his forehead.
I cough awkwardly, not being able to take the sight anymore.
They both immediately break apart. Daniel scratches the back of his neck while Natalie smirks at me.
"So what do you have to tell me?" I ask Daniel with no emotion in my voice.
"Um, I wanted to tell you that Natalie and I were going out now."
"Oh, well great. I'm so happy for you both!" I say sarcastically and then I walk back to my truck.
"Jenna!" Daniel says behind me.
"No, it's okay just date the girl thats been making my life hell." I say fumbling for my keys.
"Jenna come on, she's been mean to you for two days. And I'm trying to get her to stop."
"Daniel." I say facing him. "I've never experienced this, or ever thought I would be bullied. It's not something I'm used to, I'm not used to sitting alone at lunch, or barely talking to anyone during the day because I have no friends."
"Jenna-" Daniel begins.
"No Daniel, I will not support your choice of girlfriend, I tried to be nice to her. I was a bitch to her in the past I get it, but I've been changing and I've been happier lately. I think it was because you were my friend, because I actually had a true friend, but I can't be happy for three days." I say then I suddenly I feel tears rolling down my face. I've never cried because of things like this.
I hope Daniel just thought it was rain, but when I turned around to get in my car Daniel pulled me back.
"Give me one second." Daniel says wiping my tears away with his thumbs.
I stand there frozen to the stop, watching Daniel talk to Natalie. She pouted, but Daniel kissed her nose. She quickly blushed while smiling.
But I want Daniel to make me blush, I think but once the thought enters my brain I immediately regret it. Daniel was my friend, it's better that he has a girlfriend, just not Natalie.
He soon rushes over to me and pulls me inside my truck. He sits in the driver seat while I sit shot gun.
"Give me your keys." Daniel orders me holding out his hand.
"No." I say stubbornly.
"Jenna." He says.
"Daniel."
He just glares at me. I stick out my tongue, which probably didn't look intimidating because tears were still rolling down my face, I couldn't stop them.
"Jenna, trust me." Daniel says.
"No, you're an asshole."
"Fine." Daniels says then pulls out keys and puts them in my car, the engine starts.
"Wha." I trail off.
"I took them from your hand when you weren't paying attention, I was just trying to make you feel like you weren't being kidnapped."
"Wait I'm being kidnapped?" I ask furiously as Daniel pulls out of the school parking lot.
"Yeah, sure." Daniel says rolling his eyes.
"Where are you taking me. I'm not in the fucking mood." I say trying to stop crying.
"You'll see soon enough. And stop crying I never thought you to be a baby."
