Sodapop took my wrist and led me outside. "Where are we going?" I asked. He didn't reply and still dragged me along the sidewalk. We walked up a steep hill and sat on a blue patterned blanket. A small basket full of food sat in the middle of the blanket. "What's this?" I ask curiously.
"Surprise!" He smiled. "It's our date," Soda chuckled. "I set up a picnic for you for our second date!"
"Thank you!" I smiled hugging him. After we ate we stayed to watch the sunset. "It's beautiful!"
"You are too," he smiled.
"Shut up!" I yelled shoving him. He scoot closer to me. I looked at him oddly. Before I could say a word he pressed his lips against mine. I sank into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I love you," Sodapop said before kissing me again.
"I love you too," I smiled before I kissed him. The rest of the night was amazing.

I woke up in the shared bedroom. I sat up and looked around. He must've carried me here, I thought. I looked down beside me to see Sodapop snuggling up against me. I carefully set the blankets on him and walked into the living room. I spotted Ponyboy sound asleep on the couch. I sighed and slowly picked him up. Wow, he's heavy! I grunted. I rushed into the shared bedroom and sat Ponyboy on the bed. I covered him up and returned to the living room. I quickly grabbed some clothes, took a shower, got dressed, and brushed my teeth. I walked into the kitchen and looked at the clock. Five forty-three it read. I sighed and got into the fridge. Darry usually woke up at six thirty-ish. I grabbed some eggs and closed the fridge. I sat a pan on the stove and cracked the eggs carefully. I shuffled the eggs around for awhile until they were done just the way the boys liked them. I grabbed four plates and put Darry's eggs on the first one, Pony's on the second, the third for Soda, and last for Two-bit (since he always ate breakfast with us). I grabbed some bread and plugged the toaster in. I, also, fixed the toast as they liked. Again, I set the proper toast on each plate. I then put the butter and jelly on."What smells good?" A voice asked. I turned around and saw Two-bit.
"Here," I said shoving the fourth plate at him. He took the plate, sat down, and started watching Mickey Mouse.
"Hey, Two-bit! I didn't think you could cook! It does smell good," Darry said.
"There's one for you too!" I chuckled handing Darry the proper plate. I went to the kitchen and made four chocolate milks. I sat one in front of Darry, another in front of Two, and another on each side of them. I sat a plate in front of each chocolate milk.
"Good morning, beautiful!" Sodapop smiled walking over to me. He pecked my cheek and sat beside Darrel.
"Gee, little buddy, I think I'm more of handsome!" Darry laughed. Soda laughed and shoved his older brother. Ponyboy dragged his feet into the living room and sat on the couch.
"Who made this?" He asked. Pony started the chew his food.
"Me," I said.
"It tastes good!" He exclaimed.
"Thanks," I giggled. I started on my homework Two-bit brought home from school for me. I sighed, it took me all morning to do all of my homework. At least I got it done. I walked with Pony and Two to school. I had been sitting at school waiting for the bell to ring. As soon as it did I rushed out of the doors and waited on Ponyboy. As soon as I noticed Pony didn't wait for me I scowled. I turned around and started to walk towards the sidewalk.
"Stop!" I heard a cry.
Ponyboy, I thought. I dropped my stuff on the steps of the school and sprinted towards his voice. As soon as I got there I saw a boy my age shove Ponyboy down to the ground.
"Greaser!" He laughed. Another boy kicked his side. I clutched my fists as I noticed who they were. Richard and Eric.
"Leave him alone!" I scowled. Their head turned towards me.
"What are you gonna do about it?" Eric snorted. Richard's eyes widened, he must've remembered that punch in the face.
"I think we should go," I heard Richard whisper.
"Too late, you've dug yourself a hole!" I spat. Eric snorted and looked away.
"Richard, hold the boy against the wall!" Eric ordered. Richard obeyed.
"I've had it!" I spat. I charged at Eric. We wrestled on the ground intensely. I turned my head slightly and kicked Richard's feet from under him. He hit his head on the brick wall hard and fell limp to the ground. I had knocked him out! "Run Ponyboy!" I yelled. Eric shoved me away and started chasing Pony down the street. I went after Eric and tackled him. "No way you're leaving!" I grunted trying to pin him. I slammed his arms on the sidewalk and solidly held them down. Eric kicked at me as I sat on his chest. "Next time pick on somebody your own size!" I spit at him.
"Like you!" He scowled.
"Preferably!" I nodded. I smirked, "And don't underestimate a greaser, or a girl!" Eric scowled looking away. I got off his chest and let him up. "Oh, and don't forget this!" I exclaimed. He turned towards me and I threw my fist at him. I stuck him in the cheek he rubbed his cheek and started to whine. I smirked a turned around. I raced over to the school, grabbed my stuff, and finally started to walk home.
