Monday | 8:12 a.m.
Renée's P. O. V.
I woke up hearing banging in the kitchen. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, looking over towards the kitchen.
"Sorry, I'm making breakfast," Daniel said.
"Really?" I smiled.
"Yeah." He chuckled. "It'll be ready in like twenty minutes."
"Okay. I'm gonna shower and wake up Zach."
"Okay."
I went to my bag and grabbed clothes I would wear to work. Zach and I had a shift at 10:30.
I went into the bathroom and showered. I dried my hair and brushed it out. I left the bathroom and went to Zach's room. I lightly shook his shoulders.
"Zach, wake up," I whispered.
"Mm," he moaned and rolled over.
"Zach." I rolled him back to face me. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled.
"Good morning beautiful." Damn his raspy voice was so hot.
"Daniel made breakfast and we have work in a few hours. So get up." I chuckled.
"Wait, can you lay with me?"
"No, I gotta finish getting ready. Get up." I pulled his arm. He slid off the bed and stood up. He was shirtless, wearing sweatpants.
"Okay, but come here." He grabbed my waist and pulled me against his chest. He kissed my lips, but I pulled away before it went too far.
"Get ready." I patted his chest and went back to the kitchen.
"Is it ready?" I asked.
"Mhm. I made Dutch baby pancakes."
"Um, okay." I chuckled.
"They're really good," Zach said coming up behind me.
"Thanks. Here, help yourself." Daniel moved out of the way and Zach and I grabbed plates.
We sat down at the kitchen table that we never used and ate the breakfast.
"Wow, this is delicious," I told Daniel as he sat next to me.
"Thanks." He chuckled. Once we finished, I took all the plates to the sink.
"No, let me do it," Daniel said.
"I got it. You cooked."
"But you have work."
"I have time. Go sit down." He playfully glared at me. I started washing the dishes and he came up next to me, drying them. I looked over and smiled, him smiling back.
"I told you to sit down," I said.
"And I said let me do it." He chuckled. I smirked and quickly sprayed him with the water.
