Renée's P. O. V.
I heard the front door close and slowly opened my eyes. I lifted my head up off of Zach's chest and looked towards the door.
Daniel was walking in holding a canvas. He looked up and caught my eye, smiling.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?" He asked.
"Yeah, but it's okay." I softly got up off of Zach and walked over to Daniel.
"What'd you and Zach do?" He asked.
"We went to an abandoned place."
"Sounds fun. You two seem to be getting close," Daniel said.
"I guess. We work together." I shrugged.
"Mhm." Daniel chuckled.
"What?"
"Nothing. Y'all would make a cute couple."
"Oh whatever. We're just friends," I told him.
"That's why you were sleeping on him?"
"We were just looking through pictures we took," I said. "What'd you paint?"
Daniel turned his canvas around and showed me a beautiful painting of a wolf in a mountain howling at a full moon.
"Wow. This is amazing."
"Thanks."
"You should hang it up. You and Zach are both artists, yet you wouldn't think so because you don't decorate at all." I chuckled.
"Yeah. Where should it go?"
"At the end of the hallway," I said.
"Okay." He went to his room and grabbed one of those sticky hook things before going to the end of the hall. I grabbed his painting and went to help him.
"Beautiful," I said, standing back to look at it.
"We should print your photos out and hang them up."
"No, I don't even live here."
"People put up art all the time and those artists don't live in that house."
"I'll think about it." I chuckled. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.
"Go sleep in Zach's room."
"Okay." I yawned again and walked into Zach's room. His room was surprisingly neat, and surprisingly well decorated.
All of his furniture was white wood. His bedding was white and gray and black. He had matching curtains and a fuzzy rug and cute little plants. You'd think it was a girl's room. He had polaroids hanging up by his bed, and I noticed a keyboard and a guitar in the corner.
I turned the lights out and closed the door before hopping up onto the raised bed. I got underneath the covers and faced the wall, looking at all the pictures.
