Renée's P.O.V.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I jumped awake, seeing Haleigh in my doorway.

"Huh?" I asked tiredly. I heard Daniel laugh through the phone.

"Sorry, were you sleeping?"

"Yeah, but I can be ready in a few minutes," I said sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"Okay. We'll be in the living room." She walked out and closed the door. Sammy was still on the bed with me.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked Daniel.

"A few hours. You're so cute when you sleep."

"Shut up." I got up out of bed. We were only going to my dad's house, so the sweats I was wearing were fine. I went to the bathroom and threw my hair into a ponytail then brushed my teeth.

"Okay, I have to go now," I told Daniel.

"Okay. Call me if you need anything."

"I will. I love you."

"I love you too beautiful."

"Bye." I hung up and put my phone in my pocket before putting my vans on and going to the living room with Sammy on my heels.

"Ready?" Haleigh asked.

"Yeah." Haleigh, Mason, and I walked out to Haleigh's car. She drive to my dad's house and we all went inside. Mason and Haleigh carried in a bunch of boxes for us to pack the stuff into.

"We can split up or work together, whatever y'all want."

"Do you wanna look in his bedroom for things you wanna keep?" Haleigh asked.

"Yeah, I'll start there. You guys can do the kitchen or something." I grabbed a couple boxes and headed towards the master bedroom.

His room was a mess, which I expected. I sighed and first cleaned up the mess of food wrappers and beer and soda bottles. Then I stripped the bed and folded the sheets, putting them into a box that we would either sell or donate.

I went to his dresser and out most of his clothes into the sell box, folding a few and putting into the keep box for me to wear. I went through his dresser and closet in about half an hour. Then I started on his shelves of knick knacks and pictures.

I kept all of the pictures, but got rid of most of the little knick knacks. I kept some of the books I knew I liked and some random things I had found.

Eventually, the bedroom was bare except for the furniture. I moved into the bathroom and threw most of the stuff away, but kept his cologne.

I carried the boxes to the front hallway and went to the living room where Haleigh and Mason were sitting on the floor packing stuff up.

"How's it going?" I asked.

"Good, we're almost done. We kept the pictures and stuff but I figured you didn't need the rest," Haleigh said.
