Renee's P. O. V.

"I can't believe we start classes next week," I told Daniel. We were laying on the couch, my legs on top of his.

"You nervous?"

"Kinda. I thought I'd have Zach in some classes, but since he's a sophomore I won't."

"You might see each other, though. And you'll make friends."

"I don't know. I'm not good at making friends."

"You made friends with me."

"You gave me a place to live." I chuckled. "Speaking of that, I'm moving out soon. Wednesday, I think."

"Oh shit, you're right."

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna miss you being here everyday."

"Me too, but we'll hang out all the time."

"You won't be too busy for me?"

"Never." I smiled.

"I might have to crash at your place some nights. Once school starts, so will the line of girls Zach will bring home."

"What do you mean?"

"Last year, he brought home a girl almost once a week."

"Damn. Who needs that much sex?" I asked, nervously chuckling.

"Him apparently. Is it seriously that good?"

"What do you mean? Wait, are you a virgin?" I asked. He blushed and nodded.

"Yeah. But I'm sure you're not."

"No," I said softly.

"Some lucky guy back home?" He chuckled.

"Yeah," I lied.

It got quiet for a minute. Usually silence wasn't awkward for us, but this time it was.

"You can come over anytime. I'll get too lonely." I chuckled.

The doorknob clicked and opened, revealing Zach. Behind him was another guy.

"Brandon!" Daniel exclaimed and stood up. The guy walked in and hugged Daniel.

"Sorry Brandon, someone's in your bed." Zach chuckled. I stood up and Zach came over to me.

"This is Renée," Zach said. Brandon came and hugged me.

"This is Brandon, my best friend from Texas," Zach said, clapping his back.

"Nice to meet you," I said.

"You too."

"Sorry about the couch. I don't know how long you're staying, but I'm moving out Wednesday."
