Renée's P. O. V.

We had just finished opening presents at Mason's house with his family. More like they just finished. I told Mason's mom her Christmas gift to me was letting me stay in her house when I visit. It took a while of convincing, but she promised not to buy me anything.

The only presents I ever got were from Mason, Haleigh, and sometimes Jenny. She was a lot harder to convince than Teresa.

Mason and I were both in pajamas, as Jenny had requested, and on our way to Haleigh's. We soon arrived and were walking through the mess of wrapping paper scattered on the floor. The boys were already hooking up a new gaming system with Austin's help.

"Merry Christmas!" Jenny exclaimed, coming and hugging the two of us.

"Merry Christmas." We smiled.

"I'm making gourmet cinnamon rolls, so hang tight for like twenty minutes."

"We can open our presents," Haleigh said. I nodded and we headed down to the basement.

"Okay, who's first?" I asked.

"Um, Haleigh," Mason suggested.

"Okay." Mason and I both handed her our gifts. She sat on the couch and smiled.

"Oh gosh I'm nervous," she chuckled. She opened Mason's present first and it was some pretty expensive jewelry that she teared up at when she saw.

She kissed him and thanked him, then had him put the necklace around her neck.

"Okay, my turn." I smiled.

"Oh gosh. Why are there two?" She asked.

"One is a real gift and one is just some things I thought you'd like." I chuckled.

"Oh no. Which is which?"

"This is the real one, so open the other one first." I handed her the smaller box.

She opened it and unwrapped the ten mini snow globes from each of the states I'd visited.

"Aww, these are so cute!"

"I couldn't get Utah and Idaho, but I got the rest."

"I love them." She smiled and reached for a hug.

"Okay now your real one." She grabbed the bugger box and ripped off the wrapping paper. It was a bunch of clothes from different expensive stores.

"Renée, how'd you- what!?" She asked.

"I work at a mall." I shrugged.

"B-but, this is too much."

"No of course not. I get an employee discount at a lot of the stores. And so does Zach," I spoke quietly at the end. The three of us laughed.

"These shirts are so cute, I can't wait to try them on. Thank you."

"You're welcome." I smiled and hugged her again.
