Daniel's P. O. V.

Renée and I had gone grocery shopping late last night, so when I woke up I decided to cook something for Renée. I got out of bed and showered and brushed my teeth.

I let Squirt outside for a while before I went back inside and into the kitchen. I grabbed everything I needed and turned the stove on. I was just gonna make eggs, bacon, and biscuits.

I heard the bedroom door open and close as I was scrambling the eggs.

"Hey," Renée's quiet voice said.

"Hey. You feeling any better?" I asked.

"Yeah I guess so. Need any help?" She asked.

"If you wanna pour us some juice, everything's almost ready."

"Okay." She smiled and grabbed glasses from the cabinet.

I split the food onto two plates and carried them to the table. Renée followed me with our apple juice.

"How'd you sleep?" I asked.

"Okay. I woke up a few times and my head was throbbing. But eventually I stayed asleep."

"I'm sorry. You could've woken me up."

"No, it's fine." She shook her head.

After breakfast, we cleaned everything up and went over to the couch.

"Wanna watch a Christmas movie?" I asked, pointing to the big shelf full of movies. She nodded and I walked over to the shelf.

"We could have a Santa Claus marathon," I suggested.

"Yes, I'm so down. Want some hot chocolate?"

"Of course."

I got the tv set up and out the movie in while Renée made our hot chocolate.

We sat together on the couch and Squirt jumped up next to us.

Throughout the time we watched the movies, Renée and I were closer and closer. She started sitting next to me, then she was laying on me with my arm around her. Then I lay down and she lay down in front of me. Eventually, she grabbed my hand and held it in front of her.

Now all three movies were over and we were just laying on the couch.

"What should we do for dinner?" She asked.

"Hm."

"We bought that pizza dough. We can make our own pizzas."

"Sounds good."

We both got up and carried our hot chocolate mugs to the kitchen. I washed them while she got out all of the ingredients. I turned some music on to listen to whole we cooked.

She split the dough in half and we started rolling it out with the flour. We started joking around and just laughing while making the crust.
