Renée's P. O. V.

After staying way longer than we should have, we finally left the bowling alley. Daniel and Mason had gotten so competitive with each other. They played one single game of pool that lasted over an hour.

"Finally," Haleigh sighed as we started walking outside.

"I'm sorry babe," Mason apologized, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her face. A smile soon grew on her face.

"Did you have fun?" I asked. Mason and Haleigh were walking faster than Daniel and I.

"Yeah, they're great." He smiled, holding my hand tightly in his.

"I'm glad."

We got back to the car and Daniel and I got into the backseat. Daniel wrapped his arm around me and I leaned my head on him, yawning.

"You tired?" He asked. I nodded.

"We can shower and go to sleep when we get home," he whispered. I smiled and nodded.

Soon we pulled up into the driveway and got out of the car.

"I'm gonna check on Zach," I said walking towards the den.

I went through the hallway and through the doorframe. I was partly surprised to see him and Paige cuddling on the couch, both asleep. Or I thought they were asleep. Zach's eyes opened and landed on me.

"Sorry," I whispered. "We just got back."

"What time is it?"

"About ten thirty," I said.

"Oh." He sighed.

"I'm guessing y'all had a good time?" I asked.

"Yeah." He smiled. "I'll tell you about it tomorrow."

"Okay. I'm gonna check on Jae, then we're going to bed."

"Okay, goodnight."

"Goodnight." I turned the light off and left the den, going to the kitchen to warm a bottle then to Paige's room. I was glad I had paid attention to her routine the last time I was here.

I opened Paige's door and heard soft cries. I went over to her crib and picked her up, holding her in my arms. I started feeding her the bottle, rocking back and forth.

"Oh, there you are." I turned and saw Daniel in the doorway.

"Paige and Zach are asleep so I thought I'd help out."

"Okay." He walked over to me, standing behind me and wrapping his arms around my stomach.

"You're good at this," he whispered.

"Thanks," I whispered back. He leaned forward and kissed my cheek.

Once Jae had fallen back asleep, I put her into her crib. Then I grabbed a baby monitor and put it in the den so Zach or Paige would wake up if she needed anything.
