Renée's P. O. V.

I slowly blinked and opened my eyes, covering my face from the sun shining through the window. I looked over and saw Daniel peacefully sleeping, Squirt laying on his chest.

I smiled to myself and slowly slid out of bed. I closed the curtains, then headed to the bathroom to shower.

I turned the water on, then sat on the sink and called Haleigh.

"Hello?"

"Hey."

"What's up? You okay?  Did something happen again?" I had talked to her every day, including last night after that guy grabbed me.

"No. But um, I don't really know." She laughed.

"What do you mean?"

"Well I'm sitting in the bathroom right now Daniel's asleep. But I don't know I think...I think Imighthavefeelingsfordaniel."

"What?" She asked.

"I um...I might have feelings for Daniel?"

"Oh my gosh! What happened?"

"Well last night we were laying in bed watching a movie and just talking. And we were cuddling, I guess. But I like...I don't know I just looked up at him and...I felt like I wanted to kiss him."

"What!?"

"He just looked so cute and my heart started beating really fast and I just felt something I haven't felt before."

"Not even with Joey?"

"Never with Joey."

"So did you kiss him?"

"No, I snapped out of it."

"Why? You should've kissed him! Ugh, why can't you just make a move without thinking?"

"Because, I don't wanna kiss him if he doesn't feel the same way."

"I- okay Renée. I think you should go for it. And so does Mason, he's been dancing in here since you said you had feelings."

"Okay then." I chuckled. "I should go. I'll talk to you later. Love you."

"Love ya, bye."

I hung up then stripped and got into the shower.

Once I got out, I put on thick leggings and a large crewneck, then blow dried my hair and brushed my teeth. I left the bathroom and jumped when I saw Daniel standing up.

"Good morning," he said yawning.

"Good morning." I smiled. "When do we need to leave?"

"I was thinking we'd go somewhere for breakfast, then drive to Columbus."

"Okay, sounds good."

I grabbed my makeup and sat in front of the big mirror, starting to apply it. I put my hair into a bun and pulled out a few loose hairs.
