Chapter 27

Jay's P.O.V:

I drove Jess and I back to the apartment to get changed. I decided to change into a nice button up and dress pants. I go over to my safe and stair at the engagement ring. I decide to pick it up and open it. I decide tonight's not the night and I put it back and lock the safe. I go and sit on the couch. After a few minutes I hear heels clicking on the floor. I look up and Jess is in a tight black dress with a deep V.

"Damn mama you look amazing," I wink.

She blushes, " I guess going to the gym is finally working."

"It is definitely working," I smile.

"Are you ready?" She asks.

"Yes I am," I reply.

We walk out of the apartment hand in hand and walk over to the Uber. When we finally arrive at Molly's we realize we are the first ones there. I walk over to the bar and grab us each a drink and a shot, then I walk to the table where Jess was.

"Last time you got me to drink this much we made a baby," she reminds me.

"So?" I reply.

"So let's try not to do that again. As much as I love our baby we don't need to make another," she laughs.

After a few minutes Adam and Kevin walk in.

"Where's Cara?" Jess asks.

"She has to be up early so she didn't want to come," Adam explains.

Jess' P.O.V:

After a few hours of drinking everyone slowly started going home. All night I was catching up with Burgess on the new guy she was dating and I was taking shots with Kevin.

"Babe you're very drunk," Jay says.

"I'm not that bad," I slur.

"Say goodnight to everyone," he laughs.

I run over to Kevin and give him and hug goodbye. Then I give Kim a hug. Last I say bye to Adam and give him a hug and kiss on the cheek. Jay grabs my arm and leads me out of the bar I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Oh look the car," he winks.

We get into the car and take it back to the apartment. I start to stumble through the door but Jay catches me. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him. He grabs my waist and depends the kiss. He then kisses my neck. Then he picks me up and carries me to our bedroom.

The Next Morning...

I wake up with a pounding headache. I roll over and realize Jay isn't in the bed anymore. I get out of bed and throw on one of Jays shirts. I walk into the living room and see Jay sitting at the island drinking coffee.

"Morning sleepy Head," Jay smiles. "I left you coffee and Advil on the island."

"Thank you babe," I kiss his lips then walk to the island.

"Platt called a little while ago and said she would drop Bella at Daycare," Jay says.

"Thank god," I say.

I take the Advil and finish my coffee. Then I jump in the shower and get dressed. When I get out Jay is already dressed and ready.

"We are going to be late," he says.

"Hank is going to kill us," I sigh.

I hurry up and finish getting ready. Then we hop in the car and head to the district. When we get there I Thank Platt for watching Isabella last night, then we head upstairs.

"You two are late," Hank barks.

"I'm sorry it won't happen again," I say.

Today we finished the case in record breaking time. Thankfully it was an easy case because most of us were hungover from Molly's yesterday.

"Since tomorrow is thanksgiving, what is everyone doing?" I ask.

Everyone just looks at me and shrugs.

"Well you are all welcome to come to our apartment and celebrate," I smile.

"We would love it if you could all be there. You are welcome to bring significant others and children," Jay replies.

"I'll be there and obviously I'll bring Cara," Adam says.

"I'll be there Little homie," Kevin smiles at me.

"Thanks Kev," I smile. "I expect to see the rest of you there too."

Jay and I go home but on the way we pick up Isabella. The teacher tells us she slept a lot and didn't cry much. When we finally get back to the apartment she goes down no problem and Jay and I change and climb into bed.

"I love you a lot," I say snuggling into his chest.

"I love you more," He replies.

We both close our eyes and fall asleep. Tomorrow will be a long day.
