Jay's P.O.V:

"Jay, I'm pregnant," Jess says.

"That's great," I smile.

She looks at me surprised, "great?"

"Yes babe, this is great news," I reassure her.

"You aren't mad?" She asks.

"No, why would I be mad?" I question.

"Because you didn't want Isabella originally so I was scared you weren't going to want this baby either," she sighs.

I grab her waist, "Isabella was the best thing to ever happen to us and now we're going to have another little miracle."

"Thank you," she smiles.

"For what?" I ask.

"For simply being you," she says. "Now let's enjoy this wedding."

We go back into the party with big smiles on our faces and our fingers interlocked. We partied all night long. Thankfully Isabella slept for most of it. When we finally got home our little family laid in our beds and fell fast asleep.

The Next Day...

I woke up early because I really couldn't sleep. I jumped in the shower quick then made some coffee for Jay and got Isabella up and out of her crib. Today was the day that I had to tell Voight I am pregnant. I walked into our bedroom and put Isabella next to Jay. She just started crawling so she was trying to crawl over to her dad. Jay's eyes flutter open.

"Good morning my two favorite girls," he smiles.

"Get up sleepy head and shower. We have to head into work early to tell Voight," I explain.

"Fine, I'll go shower," he sighs.

A little while later we are both dressed and ready to go. We drop Isabella on the way to work. When we get in almost everyone is there already.

"Voight can we talk to you in your office," I say.

"Of course, come on in," Voight smiles.

Adam looks at me with a concerning face. I wave it off and follow Voight and Jay into Voights office.

"One of you isn't going to quit right?" Hank questions.

"No no, not anytime soon Sarge," Jay replies.

"I'm eight weeks pregnant," I smile.

"Congratulations you two," Hank smiles and hugs us both. "I think you need to tell the team though so they can make sure to have your back twice as hard."

"I agree," Jay says.

We all walk out of the office.

"Jay and I have an announcement to make," I smile. "I'm eight weeks pregnant."

Everyone cheers. Adam is the first one to come up to us and congratulate us. I hug him really tight. The day starts going slow then we get a call about a kidnapping in progress.

"Gear up we're all moving out, expect Jess," Hank says.

"I'm going," I say sternly.

"Babe I don't think it's a good idea," Jay replies.

"I'm going, I don't care what you two say. This is my job," I walk downstairs to put on my vest and grab my gun.

"Jess you're with Adam and Kevin," Hank says.

We get in the car and it's a little bit of a car chase. Then he gets out and runs for it. Adam stays with the girl and Kev and I chase the criminal.

"Suspect is armed and on foot. Running into a building on Pine Street," I say into my radio.

Kev takes the back and I take the front. I run inside and I see movement. I hide behind boxes and crates trying to locate the suspect and make sure he doesn't see me. I hear a noise so I draw my gun trying to find the suspect when I hear a gunshot and feel a pain in my stomach.

Kevin's P.O.V:

I hear a gunshot and I run into the next room. Jess is on the ground bleeding. I shoot the suspect and run over to Jess.

"Officers been shot, Roll an ambo to 187 pine street,"  I say.

I pick Jess up and bring her outside the building. Jay and Adam run over to me.

"She insisted we split up. She wouldn't take no for an answer," I cried out.

The ambulance takes Jess away and Jay goes with her. We all drive to the hospital to make sure her and the baby are fine. We all sit in the waiting room for about an hour.

Jess' P.O.V:

I wake up in the hospital very confused. I look and see Jay to my right crying.

"Jay what's wrong?" I croak out.

"Jess! You're alive," he smiles.

Natalie walks in.

"Oh Jess you're awake. That's good," she says.

"What's going on with me?" I ask.

"Everything with you seems fine. You're going to be a little sore. But I do have some bad news," She sighs. "I'm sorry but your baby is gone."

"Our baby died?" I cry out.

"I'm so sorry Jess and Jay," she frowns. "I'll leave you two alone."
