Adam's P.O.V:

I speed over to Jess and Jay's apartment. As I pulled up so did the rest of the team.

"Are they inside?" Hank asked.

"Both cars are here," I say.

We all go upstairs and to their door. It is still locked. Antonio bangs on the door. We wait and no answer. Kev knocks down the door. We all walk in guns drawn. I look in the living room and see them fast asleep on the couch.

"Sorry guys, looks like they were just sleeping," I sigh.

"Better to be safe than sorry," Hank reminds me.

Jess' P.O.V:

I hear voices which is weird because Jay and I fell asleep without turning on the TV. I open my eyes and see the team standing in front of us and the door is broken down.

"What are you guys doing here," I growl.

"You guys weren't answering so I thought there was something wrong," Adam scratches the back of his neck.

"Was breaking down the door necessary?" i ask.

"Sorry Jess. I'll pay for it," Kevin replies.

"So Isabella is very sick and we had to take her to the hospital last night and that's why we didn't answer you," I explain.

"What's going on?" Jay rubs his eyes.

"We need you guy or at least one of you. We have a lead on where a known drug runner is and we just need backup," Hank explains.

"You can go," I look to Jay. "I'll be fine."

"I don't want to leave you," he sighs. "Any chance you don't need me?"

"We could really use you Halstead," Hank says.

"Just go. She should be waking up soon and then I have to take her temperature," I explain.

"I love you," He kisses my forehead and runs into the bedroom.

I look at Kevin, "When are they fixing my door?"

"Already called," He smiled. "They're coming at 2."

"Thank you," I hug Kevin.

A little while later Jay is finally ready and they all head out. Not long after they leave Isabella wakes up. I take her temperature and thankfully it's only at 99.1. I still give her a little medicine because that still is high for a baby. Then I change her and feed her. By the time she actually falls back to sleep it is 12. I put her in her swing and decide to make Mac and Cheese. After I eat lunch I decide to watch some TV until the guys get here to fix the door. All of a sudden my phone rings. It's Jay.

"Hey sweetie," I smile.

"I'm going to have to stay here a little longer than we thought," He sighs.

"Why? What's wrong?" I ask.

"Well we got to the place where this guy was supposed to be and it looks like he was never even there. Now we have to look into it more to see what happened and who gave us false information," He sighs.

"Well get back to work and I'll see you when you get home. I love you," I say.

"I love you more," He hangs up.

After hanging out now for about an hour it was 1:30. I hear a knock at where the door is suppose to be. I look towards the door and see a man standing there. He looks a little sketchy. I didn't have time to run into my bedroom to grab my gun unfortunately.

"Can I help you?" I ask.

"I'm here to fix your door," He smiles awkwardly.

"Well there it is," I say.

"Can I use your bathroom quick?" He asks.

"Uh sure. I will show you where it is," I reply.

I start to walk him towards the bathroom when he grabs Isabella out of her swing and points his gun at me. I put my hands up. I start to feel my heart racing.

"Officer Ruzek, nice to finally meet you," He smirks.

"Who are you? And why do you know me?" I ask.

"I'm Pablo Escobar, the one your team is looking for," He replies.

"What do you want from me? Clearly my team can't find you," I say.

"Well if they don't give me $100K by 10PM your daughter will die," He explains.

I cry, "No you can't do that."

"Yes I can," He smiles. "I'll give you a call at 9 to tell you where to meet me."

He then runs out of the apartment. My feet feel like they are stuck to the ground. I collapse on the ground and grab my phone. I finally call Jay.

"Hey are you okay?" Jay ask.

I just sit there and cry.

"Jess, baby, talk to me," He says softly.

"He took her," I cry.

"Took who Jess," He starts to panic.

"Escobar. He took our baby," I scream through my tears.

"The team and I are on our way right now, hang in there baby. I'll be right there," He says trying to calm me down.
