The next few paragraphs are of Dakota's role in the three Star Wars films, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Unfortunately, I will not write a story for these films because... I don't exactly enjoy them.. but, I would like to give a brief narrative of how she fits into this universe. Just for clarification, there is absolutely nothing wrong with liking the prequel trilogy. I don't dislike all aspects, I love Ewan McGregor and Sam L. Jackson, and the fantastic actors, and I appreciate the story that they told with the movies, I just strongly prefer the original trilogy, The Mandalorian, and The Clone Wars.

And, and let's not forget to mention the fact that Rex is hot. Okay let's go.

The Phantom Menace

My overall idea for Dakota in this film is that she is not all that present. She remains mainly at the Jedi Temple with Mace Windu, because at this time, she is 21 years old and is still a Padawan herself. If we're pretending that she was actually in the film, she is seen as a background character for the first half. Her introduction isn't until she meets the young Anakin Skywalker (which is a scene that I already depicted in this book). I comically like to think of her as the Boba Fett of this film because she doesn't get much screen time, but she is badass nonetheless. Towards the end of the film, she is sent to Naboo by her Master to aid Obi-wan and Qui-Gon in battling Darth Maul.

She only fights him for a short while, but she displays her skills and the double-bladed lightsaber. She finds herself separated from Obi-wan and Qui-gon behind those red ray shield thingy's, and she feels Qui-gon's death with the force on the other side.

Attack of the Clones

This is where she is shown more. She is absent in the beginning, but appears in the chase scene where Anakin and Obi-wan are chasing that bounty hunter lady who tried to kill Padmé with those worms... The camera catches a leg extending from the crowd, and the lady trips and stumbles. Dakota emerges from the crowd rather casually and ignites her saber in her face, stopping her from escaping. The rest of the scene plays out as normal, and that lady is shot by the dart by none other than Jango Fett. Dakota catches a glimpse of him, and recognizes the famous armor instantly (but the Mandalorian's weren't mentioned in canon at this point) but I'm implementing a vague hint to her backstory which wouldn't be fully explored until the Clone Wars. The rest of the film plays out, and she travels with Obi-wan to Kamino. This is where I imagine Rex sees her for the first time. Like he passes by her in the hallway as the Jedi are being given a tour by the Kaminoans. They Battle Jango Fett, he gets away, she is confused by the armor still, hiding the fact that she knows it. They then go to Geonosis, get captured, the arena battle, blah blah blah this isn't my favorite movie..
