She sat down laboriously on the perimeter of the garden square, setting a bowl of fresh fruit down beside her on the surface. The air was quiet around her as she enjoyed this time alone. Across the way stood a tall, gushing water fountain with a statue of a long forgotten Jedi Master at the center. She held an old-fashioned lightsaber out in front of her and dawned a long, flowing cloak. She never knew the name of the Jedi relic, but the old double saber that she wielded was inspiration for her own.

A few fellow Jedi strolled around the garden area, going about their business as usual. Some of the Masters sent her friendly nods, while the younger Knights and Padawans quickened their pace in her presence. Dakota preferred to sit back and observe them all, still clinging to her habits of isolation. Sometimes, remaining quiet is far louder than speaking. She leaned her palm against the surface that she sat on, using her other hand to pop a berry into her mouth. As she pulled her hand away from her lips, she noticed the faded blue tint that blotched across her skin. It was the remnants of the blue shadow virus.

She wiggled her fingers, wishing that it would hurry up and disappear. All of the curious stares from the other Jedi around her were starting to get under her skin. Every so often, she wished that all of them were still too afraid to talk to her like how they were when she was a Padawan. She chuckled to herself as she thought of how they had avoided her in the halls, formed bubbles around her in the training rooms, and had even been too afraid to make eye contact.

It had been like that for years, until Obi-wan. Her first true friend since leaving home for the temple. She leaned her head back to soak in the rays of sunlight that were poking their way through the clouds over Coruscant. The endless city was buzzing around her. All of the highways were loaded with speeders, everyone on the way to somewhere important. Master Windu had ordered her to stay sedentary at the temple until she had completely healed from the virus, and she knew better then to violate her old Masters orders.

The recovery from the virus left her feeling quite chilly, so the sun felt nice against her. Dakota glanced back down to the steaks of blue across her skin, and rubbed her hand over the skin. She didn't remember all that much. At some point, she passed out in the bunker, then woke up in the Jedi Temple infirmary a moment later. Tubes ran up in her arms, and her traditional black robes were replaced with white. A medical droid had just removed a syringe that was taking a few ounces of her blood for tests. Anakin and Obi-wan has managed to get back to Naboo with the antidote in time before the virus could kill anyone else.

Padmé has fully recovered, Ahsoka as well, Fives, Kyle, and Rex were all back to one hundred precent. That's all Dakota cared about at the end of the day. Where in the universe would she be without her Captain? She turned around to look at the blue horizon of the city, being able to spot the facility where all of the Clones reside when not on active duty. She wanted to get in contact with Rex but hadn't had the opportunity yet, she wanted to make sure that he was recovering well. The green eyed Jedi respected all of the clones, even the bright shiny new recruits, but there was just something about her 501st Captain that she can't help but to smile at.
