John Wall Meets the Acolyte - 10/8/18

The Wizard Clan of the Old Capitol sang songs and drank ale for hours at the local pub and inn to celebrate their newly inducted apprentices. This yearly tradition fostered brotherhood and togetherness for ten generations.

The young squire, Troy Brown, second of his name was among the crowd dancing with an ale in one hand and a local harlot's hand in the other. It was about halfway though his favorite tune when a voice came from outside the dance area.

"No, no, NO!"

The performers stopped playing their instruments immediately and the young apprentice frantically surveyed the room in an attempt to locate the source of the outburst. That was when he saw him, the Peregrine Falcon, John Wall. The leader of the clan passed his drink to his personal squire Dwight Howard and calmly walked towards Brown without a hint of expression on his face until eventually stopping not even one foot away from the acolyte. Brown felt a burning sensation in his face, he felt as though he was being absorbed by the floor, and his heart raced with anxiety.

Wall then suddenly opened his arms wide and finally began to speak.

"......you're doing it all wrong..... Let me teach you how to properly execute the Douglas technique!!"

Brown felt the weight of the world fall off his shoulders as he watched his leader begin to move his legs from side to side while bending at the knees. It was at that moment that he realized for the first time in his life, he felt truly at home and at peace. He and his brethren raised their glasses, sending ale flying through the air as they all together belted the words to the song as Wall danced in the center of the room.

"TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGLAS TEACH ME TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGLAS! TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGLAS TEACH ME TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGLAS!

EVERYBODY DOUGLAS! EVERY EVERYBODY DOUGLAS! EVERYBODY DOUGLAS EVERY EVERYBODY DOUGLAS!!!"
