The Golden Sparrow, Luka Doncic parried and disarmed his training partner Dirk Nowitzki, the Speckled Rooster and threw away his sword.
"AAAANNNNNDDDD OOOOOONNNEEEEE!"
Doncic shouted and looked back at his opponent and posed in front of him for a brief moment. Dirk ignored him and walked over to his sword. He knelt to the ground next to where the sword landed and picked it up. He took a deliberate breath and called out to Luka.
"You shouldn't mock your opponent, boy. You must always show respect for your adversary when engaged in battle."
Luka smiled at his master and shot back at him.
"Oh what do you know, old man? People poke fun at you all the time."
Nowitzki dusted himself off looked back up to his apprentice and smiled right back.
"I was mocked......once."
