Lord Blake Griffin, The Knight of Reborn Steel journeyed across the realm to the Angel City where he thrived for a decade. However, the fury of battle took it's toll on him over the years until he became a broken shell of his former self, limping through mediocrity with no true purpose. That was until he met an immortal sorcerer from an ancient time who gave him an opportunity to start anew, both literally and figuratively.

Griffin entered a discreet dark room and kneeled before none other than High Lord Jerry West, Mark of the Realm. West was seated in a large wooden chair and waited for Griffin to speak.

"I have finished my first campaign, my lord. I have wreaked havoc in the Eastern Territories and defeated several prominent lords including The Scorpion Knight, Kawhi Leonard."

West responded to Griffin with a firm, steady tone that contrasted his somewhat frail body.

"Rise, Lord Griffin..."

Griffin popped up immediately and stood up straight. At the same time, West rose as well and grabbed his magic staff. The sorcerer clanked the wooden staff against Griffin's metal arms and legs and cracked a smile.

"Good to see these limbs have been working for you, Blake. And what of your exploits against the Celtic Knights?"

Griffin paused and swallowed nervously before replying to the old legend.

"I...I haven't been able to vanquished them just yet, my lord..."

West nodded his head, turned away from Griffin, and took a few slow steps away. Suddenly, he snapped back around and reached his open hand out toward the knight and shouted a quick spell in an ancient language Griffin did not understand. That very instant, Griffin's prosthetic limbs suddenly grew impossibly heavy, causing him to buckle and collapse to the ground in a heap. As he struggled and groaned in pain, West stood over him with his eye bulging.

"Do not fail me, Lord Griffin. You have one mission and one mission only. Go back to the Steel City and do not return until it is completed."
