Giannis and the Archer's Ring - 11/26/18

Giannis Antetokounmpo, The Gazelle trekked deep into the Eastern Forest in search of his previous lord commander, mentor, and friend, Jason Kidd. On the eve of Kidd's exile from the House of Galloping Stags, he gifted Giannis one half of a mythical two-piece ring. A ring that when whole, instantly improved the archery skills of the wearer. As the last known lord to possess the ring in it's entirety, Kidd massively boosted his abilities with the bow later in life thanks to magic ring. As Giannis moved through the forest, Kidd's words from that fateful night replayed in his head.

"Take this, child. With a little more training, you will be ready to brave the depths of the dark forest alone. When that time comes, seek me out and I shall give you the other half of this ring."

After making his way through a clearing, Giannis saw a small hut with light coming from inside in the distance. He knew instantly it was Kidd's residence and ran the rest of the way. Upon arriving, he clutched the half-ring in his fist and knocked on the door. There was no response.

"Lord Kidd! Lord Kidd it's me, Giannis!", The Gazelle exclaimed as he knocked on the door twice more. He went around the side of the hut and looked through the window. His heart sunk when he saw that the inside was in complete shambles. He ran back to the front door and kicked it down with all of his strength.

"Lord Kidd!?", he called out as he frantically searched for his revered teacher. That was when he saw a note left on the rocking chair in middle of the thrashed room. He picked it up and read it aloud to himself.

"Hello Giannis,

If you ever want to see your dear mentor alive again, you will bring the other half of the ring to the Old Capital.

See you soon,

Lord Ben Simmons."
