Robert Covington, The Hunter rushed up the winding stairs to the top of the tower located in the center of the Old Capitol. Ben Simmons, The Octopus was never one to take kindly to being kept waiting and Covington's urgency reflected this. Upon reaching Simmons' private throne room, he wrapped on the massive double doors using a secret knock entrusted only to Simmons' most trusted men.

"Enter." Simmons ordered from the other side of the doors. After they were opened by Simmons' personal attendants, Covington walked with pace to the elevated throne platform and kneeled before his ruler.

"How may I serve you, my master?", he asked still breathing slightly heavily. Simmons straightened his robes and addressed Covington.

"Robert, my most trusted knight, I am in need of your tracking and hunting abilities. After speaking with the dark maesters, I have learned of a powerful object that if harnessed by me will guarantee our rule of the Eastern Territories."

Covington furrowed his brow in confusion and looked up at the young sorcerer.

"Forgive me my lord, but what is this object? And why does it's retrieval require the skills a tracker?"

Simmons planted his ebony staff into the floor, stood up and replied to The Hunter.

"The details of object itself are of no consequence to you. What is important is the identity of the last known man to possess it. That man is Lord Jason Kidd, who has not been heard from or seen in years."

Covington had heard stories of the legendary knight but said nothing, keeping eye contact with Simmons. Suddenly, The Octopus' eyes began rapidly flashing black and white as he continued giving his orders.

"Robert, you will find Lord Kidd and bring him to me...alive."

Covington's internal dialogue stopped completely as his shoulders relaxed and his breathing returned to normal.

"Yes, Lord Simmons."
