"IT'S NOT FAIR!!!"
The young lord Dennis Smith Jr. smashed every vase in his private chambers, venting his immense frustration.
"IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME!!"
As he paced back and forth trying to contain his explosive rage, a soothing yet firm voice called to him from the other side of the room.
"Calm yourself, my son."
Russell Westbrook, the Lord of Wind and Thunder walked cautiously towards Smith, for he had an important lesson to teach.
"But father, I was here first! It was me who was to lead the Galloping Knights to glory, but the people praise HIS name!"
Just the thought of Luka Doncic, the Golden Eagle was enough to send Smith into another vase-throwing frenzy. He picked up another to throw but was interrupted by Westbrook.
"Easy boy. This resentment you harbor will lead you down a destructive path. A path that will sink the ship that you both should steer together. Luka is your friend, is he not?"
Still breathing heavily, Dennis answered begrudgingly. "Yes..."
Westbrook clutched the sword by his side, turned to the window, and stared out into the horizon of the flatlands.
"I had a friend once...but I too desired glory and it blinded me to what was truly important. We could have had everything, but now I have nothing and I will never see him again."
He turned back towards his son and continued speaking as his eyes welled up slightly with tears.
"Individual glory is worth little, my boy. I know this is hard for you as my prideful blood courses through your veins, but you must find a way. For together, the two of you can achieve greatness."
