King Lebron James, The Lion, stopped his private carriage just outside the castle in Old Miami where he received a hero's welcome from the adoring townspeople who chanted his name and tossed him roses. He waved as he stepped out and was immediately greeted with open arms by Lord Dwyane Wade, The Flashing Eagle.

The two embraced for a moment before they turned to the castle. Wade kept one hand on his old comrade's shoulder and the other on the handle of a walking stick as they headed to the main doors. The two exchanged pleasantries and old war stories as they walked up the stairs to Wade's private chambers where they met to discuss the current state of the Eastern Territories where James had ruled for a generation.

"So how goes it in the East, my friend?"

Wade's face lost all expression as he looked at the king and answered.

"It has been trying time for everyone, Lebron. When you ruled, there was balance; the East had purpose. Now, there is only bloody chaos as they all try to fill the massive void that only you could leave."

After a somber look took over his face, James nodded in understanding as Wade continued.

"The young lord Ben Simmons and the House of the Old Capital grow stronger by the day. Kyrie Irving, The Praying Mantis as he's now called is more formidable with the Celtic Knights than ever before. The people fear these lords' use of dark magic, though. Which is why I believe most favor the new Warden of the North, Kawhi Leonard, The Scorpion Knight. While all powerful in their own ways, many of the Eastern houses seem only one piece away from solidifying their power."

Lebron looked down for a moment and smiled to himself.

"It certainly sounds like quite an epic struggle, my old friend. And I thank you for your loyalty. Especially since I am certainly not welcome anywhere else in the Eastern Territories."

Wade nodded before posing a question to James.

"You know Lebron, you never told me why exactly you left when you did....the way you did. Why cause such havoc when there was no question who ruled the East? Why create the power vacuum?"

Lebron looked back up and Wade and smiled.

"Knowing you, I am sure the full details will come to you in due time Dwyane, but I had to lure The Snake out of his hole in the Golden City somehow."
