Chapter 24: Beautiful Soul {TEASER}

“You’re insane. We’d be killed if we got caught!” I told Harry.

He sighed, shaking his head. “And I thought you were just as adventurous as your bother.”

“Please,” I scoffed. “Louis doesn’t know the definition of the word.”

“Then come with me!” Harry sat down next to me and pouted. “Please? I don’t wanna go by myself.”

“Why can’t you just wait until everybody else gets up and it’s not one in the morning?”

“Because I don’t want them to come. I just want to go with you,” He said, smiling at the end.

I would be lying if I told you I was used to his effect on me. I don’t think I would ever get use to it. The way I felt around him was indescribable. Every time he’s near, my heart races and I feel lightheaded. It’s as if he’s casting a spell on me or something. And I know it sounds cliché, but it’s true.

He grinned at me. “Please, El?”

I bit my lip. “Harry, I don’t know…”

“Please, please, please? It’ll be fun!”

“Paul’s a big dude. He can easily kill us,” I pointed out.

Harry rolled his eyes. He pulled me onto his lap and looked me in the eyes. “I promise if we get in trouble, I’ll take the blame.”

I stared into his bright green eyes that I just adored. He placed his hands on my hips. My skin felt like it was on fire.

“Please?” he begged.

I closed my eyes and rested my head on his shoulder. I sighed and sat up, looking at him. “What if fans spot you?” I asked. “What if they find us and we get mobbed? Then what Mr. Adventurous?”

He smirked. “I’d prefer Mr. Dangerous.”

I sighed. “Harry, I’m serious.”

He smiled. “Then we run really fast.”

“And if they catch us?”

“We stop, I take pictures and sign things and then we leave.”

“You make it sound so simple,” I said, sighing.

“Please?” He pleaded.

“I swear if we get caught-”

“We’re not going to get caught. You’re talking to the champion of laser quest, the master of disguise, Mr. Dangerous, the one and only Harry Edward Styles.”

I rolled my eyes and stood up. “God so help you, if Paul or Preston finds us, you’re going to die first,” I told him, waving my finger in his face.

He smirked and stood. He was inches from my face. He dipped his head down, breathing against my neck. “If I go down, you’re coming with me, babe,” he whispered in my ear.

Don’t freak out. Stay calm.

“Fine, lead the way,” I whispered.

He winked at me and took my hand. “Leave your phone,” he told me, putting his on the counter of the small kitchenette.

“Why?” I asked curiously.

“So nobody bothers us,” he said, putting the room key in the pocket of his shorts.

I sighed and put my phone next to his. “If we get lost how are we going to get back? What are we going to do? Build a fire and send signals with the smoke?” I asked sarcastically.

He laughed. “Cute idea, but, we’ll find our way back.”

“We better,” I told him.

He smiled and kissed my head. “Have some faith in me, babe.”

I smiled and took his hand again, not even realizing I had let it go. His hands were warm. “Let’s go,” I told him, nodding towards the door.
