The girls have forced me to come out and ski with them. I told them I was fine staying alone in the cabin but they terrified me about Ryan might sneaking from them and coming to the cabin to rape me. I know they are lying but it kind of creeped me out.
"Do you know how to ski? I can teach you." Mason said as he handed me a goggle because Ron and Ryan broke my pink one when they were fighting over it.
"Since when did you become nice?" Bridget asked. I turned to her direction who was putting on her earmuffs.
"Since, Lily Crawford came in town," Maddison answered for him. I would beg to disagree but I don't want to keep the conversation going. I just want to get over this weekend and go home to double check my answers on my homework.
"Totally true," Ryan agreed. I sighed, walking out the front door. Landon and Mark were already out, waiting for all of us.
"So, after we ski down. What do we do next?" Landon asks Mark. Landon and I usually just stay in the cabin staring at the fire while we sip hot coco. We sometimes ski but it gets really boring when you've been skiing with the same person you see every day. Mom and dad would tell us that they'll join us down the mountain. As usual, they never come down the mountain to meet us. They forget or intentionally forget to go meet us because they rather continue working on their laptops. OMG! I have got to stop talking about how awful my life is.
"Well. We just ski." Mark shrugged. If I would have known that Maddison was coming to accompany Bridget then I wouldn't step in the van.
"We'll meet you guys down there." Ron said and pushed himself down. We watch as he tries to miss a small mound.
"Landon? Are you going?" Mark asked. Landon smirked then pushed himself down. Mark came after him. Now, I'm just waiting for Mason to go down so I will be the last one, meaning I will able to go back to the cabin.
"Do you know how to ski? Because if not then I can teach you." Mason informed me. I looked at him to see if he was trying to mock me or if he was being serious.
"Yes, I know how to ski," I answered.
"Then go," Mason stated. Great, I have to deal with this.
"After you," I gestured, giving him space.
"Alrighty then," he mumbled. I watched as he went down. I waited until I can no longer see him then I went back to the cabin.
It was horribly quiet inside this cabin. It's like when I'm on vacation with my parents. Awfully and utterly quiet. Like I usually do, I stay in my room and just listen to music on my phone.
I should have probably informed them that I'm okay. They might worry about me but unfortunately, there isn't any signal here. I sang along to the music playing as I cuddled into my blanket.
When there was a silence pause at the end of a song, I heard a sound coming from the background. I took out my earphones and waited if my ears weren't messing around with me.
Thud!
There it goes again. I got off of bed and slowly walked to the door.
Oh please! Don't let it be Ryan. I know he won't do such things but that guy is creepy.
I peeked through the kitchen but no one was there. "You little brat," I heard a voice coming from behind me. I turned as soon as I can and saw Mason standing behind me with his arms folded. "You tricked me."
"And?" I cocked.
"That means I will have to stay here with you as the others have fun skiing."
"You don't have to stay here, you know? You can go have fun with them." I told him.
