Not Again

So it is the guys' 2nd days at the park. They have done some pretty good job, I say. The girls and I hung out just watching them suffer as we lay on a picnic blanket.

"You and Mason would be a cute couple." Bridget popped out of nowhere. Now, why is this the subject of the conversation? Awhile ago, we were talking about planning a secret Santa party for all of us, friends.

"I agree. You, two, will make a cute couple and this is coming from his sister." Maddy added on. I bet, Mason has something to do with this.

"And this is coming from Landon's little sister. You and him will make a great couple." I mocked Maddy and also to change up the subject.

"Whatever." Maddison responds as she threw the soccer ball at me.

"Oh M. Gee. Maddy, how come you never told me, huh?" Bridget squealed and strangled Maddy's arm.

"Told you what?" Maddy said.

"That you and Landon are a thing now." she exclaimed. I tried to stop my laugh.

"What? We are not a thing." Maddy fake giggled as I burst out laughing.

"Right." I said with sarcasm.

"Alright, change the subject." Maddy demanded. Seconds later, Bridget's phone beeped. I looked over to Ron's direction but his phone was not in his hand. I wonder who could have texted her.

"What the hell!" Bridget snaps after reading from her phone. She gets up to her bum and shakes both of Maddy and I. "Guys, you won't believe it."

Maddy and I exchanged looks then burst out laughing. Bridget's reaction gets us every time. I wonder what could possibly the topic be for today. Last week, Bridget freaked out about Ariana Grande and Jai Brook's break up and Ariana maybe having a relationship with Big Sean. Then yesterday, her reaction was so damn funny when she found out that my ex, Kevin, is now dating one of a famous person's daughter.

She has a crush on Kevin. That's not hard to believe. Kevin is just so hot and I guess I got deceived by his looks never the inside. I wonder if she knows that Kevin is one of the Snobitch.

"What is it now?" I chuckled.

"Jennifer Crawford's husband got in a accident." she says and those words just made my whole world stop. Is she telling the truth? Please, someone tell me that it's just a false statement.

"Omg. Are you sure?" Maddy asked. I couldn't speak. I don't know what to say.

"Jennifer announced it to one of the interviewers." Bridget said. I couldn't breathe. Am I just hallucinating it? I got to find Landon.

"I got to go talk to Landon." I said. " I -I got to t-tell him some-some-something." I stuttered. I ran as fast to where Landon was standing. He was on a phone with someone.

"Landon, dad...." I trailed.

"It's okay." he says.

"No, it's not okay. I got to see him. I want to see him." I cried.

"No, it's okay. Mom just called and she said not to freak out. It was just an act so that you will come home." he states.

"What?" I whispered. So she would put up this whole act just so that I would come home?

"I know. I know what you're thinking. Now, no need to get mad at her for that. She just wants you to come home." he said.

What a desperate woman she can be!

"Hey guys, what you guys talking about?" Ryan snapped. I jumped when he touched my shoulder making me forget about mom. This guy is cool but is creepy and weird at some times.
