I have no escape anymore. Everything I do, there's always someone watching me. Everywhere I go, there's a security guard following me. Anyone I talk to, there's a guy next to me listening to our conversation. I have no access to any social networks nor any electronic devices but my television in my room and my hair dryer.
I am completely on locked down. It's been two days since we landed. I have been locked down in my room. Sure, I could go anywhere in the house but I prefer to be left alone in my room. Still, there's a guy sitting next to my door and two guards guarding my windows in case I sneak out from there.
I know that if I come downstairs, I would have to face my mother. She would scream at me or give me her famous glare. She still hasn't talked to me since we left Colorado. Dad is back to being busy all the time but I know he tries to find a free time for me. Landon, I don't know. I think he is in school. I don't know what he is up to. He hasn't spoken to me in a while. I haven't even seen a sight of him ever since I landed in Florida. I think because I lock myself and want nothing to do with the world outside.
I would get my meals delivered in my room by the housemaids. I could see the pity in their eyes as they enter my room. I don't need pity. I need freedom but I don't want to cause anymore trouble. All I care about is fixing the mess I have made.
I hear my door open as I was covered under my bed sheets. It must be my lunch. Unfortunately, it comes with an angry mom. "Get up. Eat your lunch." she said.
"I don't want to. Just leave me alone!" I yelled because I knew my voice was muffled under the pillow.
"We haven't discuss your behavior yet, young lady and this is the only time I have so get up." she said. I groaned and pushed the cover and pillow off my face.
"What?" I asked irritated.
"Your recent behavior is not acceptable. Because of your nonsense, I have lost three investors for my new line!" she said.
"It isn't my fault. You're the one who blurted to the public about your daughter running away from home or missing. That is all on you. You're an attention seeker. Deal with it!" I snapped at her. She folded her arms and glares at me. I glared back at her.
"Listen up! Lilian, I would no longer put up to this. I had enough of it. I don't want it to ever happen again. For now on, you will have my men escorting you wherever you go!" she hissed. Isn't that what's happening right now?!
"Mom! All I wanted was to live my life. No one controlling it. I didn't want to be controlled and I tried to escape but you found me so you win, mom. Because it will never happen again!" I growled.
"You will go back to school on Monday. No excuses and you will come straight home. Eat up! you need it for tomorrow night's show. It's the new line I was telling you about." she smiles.
"Yeah sure. My life is back. Every thing is fake including me. I am Jennifer's little Barbie Doll who controls her every move. Yippie! I am a fake plastic Barbie doll controlled by the famous Jennifer Crawford!" I said, mimicking a squeaky voice with sarcasm.
"Young lady, I have enough of that behavior. You have just caused yourself another week without your phone!" she snaps.
"Oh yeah! Like that'll hurt me even more." I rolled my eyes.
"Lilian!" she yells, furiously. "I have enough of this, I tell you. Stop being a stubborn child and do as I say. Be the daughter you have to be!" she literally said that. Do as she say.
"Okay, Mom! Okay, I will do what you say because I am your daughter. You can control it and do whatever with my life!" I yelled at her, tears pouring down my cheeks. "Now, can you just get out! Leave me alone!" She does as I asked.
